Muff along with Craigbane both Div2 in their respective counties.
Ballinderry & Arva both Div1 in theirs. But it doesn't really matter, apparently.

Most seem to be cooking the books, Derry no different the last couple of years.. Think we're due to go back to the norm from next year.

I think Derry are making a mistake next season. Too few clubs in junior.

I'm not sure what they will end up with tbh. I'd be all on for in creasing the junior league with 3 or 4 more teams rather than increasing the number of junior championship teams with intermediate league teams
I think we're along the same lines. I'd align leagues with championship again but have a third of teams in each division.

That would render the leagues completely a waste of time. At least currently there is a little bit of compo in it as the bottom team can get relegated to D2. Imagine no relegation at all in the league ffs.

2 up 2 down, no?

What was the process for McKinless and Bell to get suspensions over turned for Derrylaughan game on Sunday? I didn't particularly care who won the game but purely as a neutral you're talking about a 1 point game where the oppositions two best players were suspended in the build up to the game only to take the field. What would the basis have been for this?

Not a dig at the Shamrocks what so ever either, I hope they beat Arva by 25

Bells was very straightforward, he didn't strike in the carrickruppen game and footage backed that up. Also carrickruppen player spoke in favour of him as well supposedly. Gareths went to appeal through DRA at the 11th hour which left him available to play as appeal won't be heard to later this week..so he's still technically missing the final if he loses his appeal.

Duine Inteacht Eile

He was suspended but because he appealed at the last minute he is cleared until his appeal is heard? Am I reading that right?

That's a shitty process. Surely you should be suspended until you are cleared?

Yes that is correct. I don't know the ins and outs of it, derry threw the first appeal out, ulster threw second appeal out so ballinderry took it to croke park and the Dispute Resolution Authority. The rumour is Derry worded the official letter wrong by upgrading his suspension to a "2 week" suspension instead of "2 games". So that's where the DRA can step in on appeal. I believe it will be turned over. Strange one

That's not what I meant, apologies. I mean having the Div1 teams in Senior Championship, Div2 in Intermediate and Div 3 in Junior. But have a third of teams in the county in each. Promotion available through league and championship as we previously had.

It's not fair that Ballinderry get to play the final at their county ground.

South Derry folk aren't too keen on Celtic Park either...

It's a joke about Ballinderry's proximity to the border with Tyrone...
