General discussion / Re: Dogs

I'll struggle when my wee ones go, hopefully for not a few years yet, the bond is crazy and there would be a serious void in our lives once they go, we purposely got them when the kids were a bit older, knowing at some point they would have been heading off to college and they really have made it easier for that void the kids leave..

As for dealing with it, the cushions with their photos on it have helped my friend once their dog died

I don't think I'll get another one or two after these though.

Quote from: J70 on December 05, 2024, 06:49:43 PMHow is MAGA world taking it?

I saw an interview with Bannon recently where he said that he tells his billionaire pals that if they don't soon start paying their fair dues in terms of taxes and so on, that there will be a French Revolution style revolt in the US.

Which obviously puts him at odds with the likes of Trump whose only intention towards the rich is to lighten their "load" even further.

On the wider point, I agree with everything Puckoon said on this assassination.

The one percenters refused to pay the last owner of America, it also led to a revolution

Could it not be said that giving ye money is actually future investments to an UI?

It's clever gambling, spend now, get the infrastructure right and pave the way for a better Ireland

I only ask for vouchers for restaurants, I usually get 2, one for xmas and one for my birthday 8 days later..

The surprise is they pick the place, though they generally know where I like

And villa plus Everton who were hammered at the weekend should be well up for Liverpool at the weekend..

If Liverpool lose or draw then the league is up for grabs.

She's long gone, but it shows the unequal application and prosecution of the law

It continues to show the USA as a basket case

Anyone who thinks this league is over is living in cloud cuckoo land.

I haven't seen any Liverpool fans suggesting that.
Wasn't talking about Liverpool fans

And don't forget Villa winning handy too. This league is not over  ;D

Wonder if the Republicans are going to go after him in State Court? (like the Democrats went after Trump)

Who really cares? Id say America has issues that are a 1000 times worse than what Joe has done and those before him..

It just shows how much of a basket case the States really is

Plenty of people care

If the Republicans don't respond to what Democratic State prosecutors did to Trump there's no disincentive to them doing it again

Can you imagine a DUP prosecutor taking a case against Gerry Adams and trying the case in a town where 80% of the jury are Orangemen. That's what happened Trump

They probably care more for that than the killing sprees

So again, a proper basket case
