Quote from: Captain Obvious on Today at 03:17:56 PMVery emotional stuff by the Kerry manager,  clearly a very tough defeat to take especially the manner of it.  When four points ahead with 12 minutes to play with the wind advantage they must have thought the win for there for them. Then took the lead again on 60 minutes after the set back with the Tyrone scored penalty.  Am I right in saying the match winning score from Diarmuid Martin is the lad that replaced Joel Kerr in the starting team today?

Yes thats right

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on Today at 02:51:04 PMWhy that cub not fist that over the bar!

Nearly like he was trying to work a goal. Last play of the all ireland final. Dream come true stuff if he scores it.

Frig it, we're winning the lot.

Quote from: Grace Murphy on Today at 12:36:56 PMWest Ham the epitome of BritishNess

Sure isn't the Rock as British Finchley! They didn't even want irish signs on their new building.

Can't you go 5 minutes today without making a tit of yourself mucker?

I'm from the area, know the Kerrs. Lovely people. And you're a dose of dung.

Quote from: Grace Murphy on Today at 11:32:02 AMObviously desperate to sign. Had his family Kerred about Tyrone it wouldn't have been a problem to sign the contract to start 7th July but they where likely seeing pound signs.

Hope the lads can do it without him as they deserve it. You know what I mean Mucker.

Wtf?

Quote from: The Trap on July 05, 2025, 06:34:10 PMAs a sporting contest its absolutely terrible.
Antrim used to be more competitive in all ireland semi finals!
But sure these are the sort of scorefests some people find entertaining.

So Armaghs drubbing last week was ok but today was wrong?

Looking forward to Tyrone's game next

Armagh lost by 8 and there was nothing in it at half time.
Today Dublin lost by 20(!) And it was over after 20mins.

If Armagh bothered with hurling the scores would be higher again, but they, like Tyrone and so on don't bother giving it an equal approach, football is easier to play.

Just need to be physically big and fit to play football, but there's a skill level requirement for hurling, required effort though

Is that why Antrim don't bother with Hurling either?

It's incredible that a major club has dropped such a PR howler like this. It really really does not look good and the blowback will go on and on, rightfully so.

Why is he only charged the week his contract expires? These incidents happened in 2021/22. He was playing for arsenal just weeks ago???

Quote from: WT4E on July 03, 2025, 01:05:13 PMBlow for Tyrone.

Kerr not playing as he has gone to West Ham. How has this happened? I thought he would have had time to finish out this competition?

Starts with west ham on Monday morning.

Some of the first few pages in this thread are nuts. Wonder did that poster ever call round to the journalists writing about his "private life"...

Quote from: Captain Scarlet on July 01, 2025, 06:09:15 PMA couple of mentions of contracts. In one sense the clearing of him by Ulster GAA before the letter could have been seen as a breach of 'contract' and there is a more obvious mention of a 'verbal' one with Naas.

There's a defamation angle but if he goes down contract as coach route then loss of earnings would be public. Naas would have to say how much they were paying him and that's another can of worms with the tax man...

No such thing as contract in GAA management be it club or county.  It's a verbal agreement.

Is there a difference in legal terms?
