25,000 from so called big counties like Tyrone,Donegal and Galway is a disgrace, for a Championship game.Hiw many band wagon jumpers from each of the above counties will be moaning about All Ireland Final tickets should their county reach that stage?

The disgrace was dragging 25000 people from donegal,Tyrone,Galway and Sligo to croke park in the 1st place.

Durcan, 2 McGees, McGrath,  R McHugh,  Thompson,  McGlynn,  Gallagher, McElhinney,  MacNiallais,  Toye, M McHugh,  C McFadden,  Murphy,  McBrearty

Thompson in for Lacey, otherwise unchanged.

I read that O'Connor had done his knee again.

Heard jigger damaged his kneecap. He's been really unlucky this year with injuries

Eoghan ban Gallagher been introduced to the subs bench for this game, was really impressed with him last year at minor level

No tickets available online ATM so seems we on our way to a complete sell out. I don't think Gallagher has started the team named in any of the games so far in the championship making at least 1 change each game

Different stories going about up here on mcbrearty some saying he struggling others (including Rory Gallagher) saying the injury wasn't as bad as first thought and he be fit for the final

Leo mcloone apparently back training with the donegal squad tonight. Be great to have Leo back in the squad, like Declan walsh return it would help to strengthen the overall squad

We were very lucky to cone out of clones with a win yesterday. Played nowhere near the level we capable of and from being there it seemed we were a little complacent. Our passing wasn't at what we cone to expect and shoot selection was poor as well sonething we don't usually see with this donegal team. We also gave away a number of frees in the scoring zone which is sonething we never do

But at the end of the day happy to get the win and reach another ulster final. Was speaking to a Monaghan man after and he said would see a different type of game next day out and would have to agree with him.

clubs are getting tickets

Clubs have most of the tickets.
We'll see how many Donegal people will travel, there weren't many in Cross in 2010.  :P
Reckon we will have no bother selling our full allocation for the game (probably be between 7-8 thousand tickets) hopefully it's a better day than that 1 in 2010. I was 1 of the unfortunate dobegal supporters to be at that game, never seen us with such a poor support at a championship game

Decent looking Donegal team - pretty strong all over the pitch. Tyrone need to keep Murphy and McBrearty under control and take our chances including frees which we haven't done in previous meetings.

What is the capacity on Sunday? I assume Donegal will heavily outnumber Tyrone - maybe around 3 to 1. Hadn't heard any talk of the split in tickets. Some went on general sale late (have now sold out) which I assume were sent back by Tyrone.
Capacity is 17500 on Sunday, both counties got 7000 tickets with an initial 3500 going on general sale (sold out in 40 minutes) to my knowledge donegal sold their full allocation but Tyrone didn't which led to supervalue and tickets.ie getting more to put on general sale (a lot of donegal clubs were buying these up as their initial allocation didn't cover the demand)

GAA Discussion / Donegal vs Tyrone may 17th

Not long till the Ulster championship gets underway with the clash of Donegal vs Tyrone in 2 weeks time

The 2 teams have met on a regular bases in the ulster championship in the last few year (3 of last 4 championships) with Donegal coming out on top in all 3 games. They also won the most recent game between the counties (10 point victory in this years league). The recent games have you wondering do Donegal have the mental advantage over this Tyrone team. I see today Micky Harte has decided to not  train in garvagh as he's worried of Donegal watching training sessions, instead he's decided to move training around the county

On the team front Donegal have a clean bill of health apart from mcelhinney ( expected to return to training this week) and young oconnor (could be fit in time but has played no real part in team this year yet) whereas if rumours are to be believed Sean cavanagh is struggling with a knee injury and was reported that he will put off surgery on it and instead take pain killing injections in order to play.

It's a game I've personally been looking forward to since the draw was made and seems I'm not the only one. 3504 tickets went on sake yesterday online and were sold out inside a half hour.

Donegal did well to rescue the result tonight. Was hard game to watch at times and both teams kicked some bad wides. Some good performances for donegal with young parke and Thompson being the best on the night

Improvement needed before the semi final especially in the shooting department

Was much happier after our performance in kerry. Know we were beat but played much better, should be play to that level again would think we cone out on top considering we playing at home.

Quote from: donegal lad on March 12, 2015, 11:08:38 PMHappy to see Ryan mchugh back in the half forwards he was wasted in the half back line last week. Think if mark mchugh is to start he needs to be named in the backline

Would it be fair to say that both McHugh's have been out-of-form a bit so far this year ?

Thought they were both very quiet in the Dublin game and they hasnt been much talk of them in dispatches.

Would be fair to say that. Ryan has been played in the half backline a lot this year which takes away from his game IMO.

If I'm being honest I don't believe mark has done enough to walk straight back I to the starting 15. He played in the McKenna cup and all league games this year and he has looked off the pace and I believe playing him in the half forwards is sacrificing an attacking option
