As for Ukraine, none of you 'anti-genocide' pro-Palestinians actually care, because they have the backing of the US in their fight for their national survival. And that trumps everything for you. Yes, Dick Cheney will go down in infamy, and I have no time for his daughter based on most policy issues, foreign or domestic. However, that doesn't mean they're wrong in this instance. Liz Cheney is probably herself opposed to 90% of the policy stuff someone like myself would believe, but she is still someone who refused to sell her soul to the personality cult that is the GOP and is one of the few who has stood up to Trump's attempts to do an end run around the democratic process. Because she refused to publicly back Trump on his attempted coup, she, who had been part of the GOP House leadership team under Kevin McCarthy, was expelled from the party, while McCarthy welcomed and promoted braindead, bigoted, conspiracy theorists like Marjorie Taylor Greene into the fold. Right now, she is one of the primary targets for Trump as he promises to criminally prosecute the members of the House January 6th Committee for treason.

Personally, I'm all for the likes of Cheney and Adam Kinzinger forming part of a temporary alliance with the Dems in pursuit of a greater good. If and when the MAGA insanity passes into history, we can get back to being in opposition on normal policy issues.
