Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and...

Its mad the difference a year makes... we beat them by 1-5 at Ballybofey just last June
Despite us retaining Div 1 status we are going into this 2/1 outsiders and not fancied at all
I think if Con is fit, we have a real chance here. Few conundrums for management... I dont think we can afford to start both Canavans & McCurry - we need more output in the middle third. Joe Oguz & Ben Cullen should both come in to start. Leaving one of that 3 out, gives us a good attacking sub for the second half along with McShane
I think for the best part of the game drop off on their kick out's entirely. Donegal are coming in on a high, best to frustrate them early and it negates Pattons influence.  We have enough  pace and firepower to do well on the counter.
Lets not forget Derry got loads of attacks & shots away last week. They were also quite flat energy wise, and made some silly mistakes to literally gift goals. Donegal were far from flawless. I expect we will get plenty of opportunities - if we take a good share of them we will be in business

Given last weekends results you can never count a team out of the equation before a ball has been kicked.  Down are certainly improved on last year, but probably still a level below Armagh at the moment.

The Donegal/Tyrone game much harder to call, but hard not to see Donegal winning that either.

I'm not gonna come on here and start talking up Down, I'm calling it as I see it, they are shite and if we can't beat them we would be as well playing Tailteann. Obviously we'd like to think that players and management won't be complacent at all and come in 100% ready to win.

Yes i understood the original instruction. Sincere apologies for cutting to the chase. It would be far quicker just saying how many countries people have visited rather than having a 100 page thread to get to the answer

Yes I think you're  probably right.

I had thought doing  it by continent but  it's all over place (although I'm  thinking  along the lines of international football qualifying ). I mean , did you  know Cyprus is technically in Asia?  No, me neither

Aodhan using that considerable experience well, has had a great career.  Pollock must be looking sharp again if match reports are to be believed.

Quote from: downtothecore on April 25, 2024, 10:20:37 PMNewry or Armagh would have had a full house so opportunity lost for good crowd and  atmosphere. I guess the mighty Armagh would prefer a trot out in clones to help prepare for the ulster final...
Newry/Armagh wouldn't be fair on Down given that Pairc  Essler  is in Armagh ;D County that is.

Cute hoorism on fans forums has often been known to swing matches either way.

Quote from: An Watcher on Today at 07:23:18 AMStumbled across this show Manifest on Netflix.  First few episodes not bad but seen there are over 50 of them.  Not sure whether to stick with it

That's a sure signal to avoid. Easier to watch 50 episodes if you have been watching them all along but for me that's a struggle to get into anything if it's that far on.

That was in jest btw...and yes I'd agree on just having one list.
