The GAA has reported a loss in revenue of 68million euros in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In its financial report for the year ending 31 October, the lack of gate receipts led to a 27.1m euros debt.
When the deficit at provincial and county level is factored in, that figure rises to 34.1m.

With the GAA announcing massive losses from 2020, this would make the case for club beginning the season first stronger again. Inter County to later in the year in the hope of getting crowds to get revenue back in.

Potentially but I'd say it's still unlikely to see anything more that 50% capacity in 2021 at best.

I seen the email that the county board sent out today and it's obvious a few clubs have been caught out training while the ban is on, who is guilty?

I am sure it was just a few lads who took it upon themselves to go out training on their own for their mental and physical wellbeing and coincidentally met a few team mates with the same idea.  ::) ::)

Heard it was the newly forned Sion Mills team! By all accounts they are ready to hit the ground running once the season starts!

Stevie McDoll$r regularly flouting the lockdown rules training our near neighbours.  Paid by the session so he is there come hail, rain or covid!

What about the opening haha! Randomly skipped to 19.30 and what about the clonoe no 14 with the wonky elbow 😱

redzone

Great game. Clonoe came from nowhere that year to win it. The roar from the crowd evrrytime mccabe got the ball. What a player. Some goal from mcshane, I think the island thought all they had to do was turn up. Clonoe could have won by far more. 13 was decent we player for them. You could spot the County players a Mile of, just that bit stronger and quicker and better. You can hear a chopper over head at one point, and some kid was messing with the microphone all you can hear is the commentator saying, hit that boy a clout lol

What's the story with Augher and Clogher no longer amalgamating?

Edendork have been caught training twice now, once at their small training field and also at academy pitches. Lorcan Martin under pressure from edendork chairman

Wouldn't be much point putting him under pressure when they are allowed to train in 4 days.

Every club at a good level is training now.
