Do ya know when your textin on the iPhone, does it ever happen to anyone else that sometimes the phone will put in a full stop after a word and won't let you use the space bar? So you have to start a new sentence whether you want to or not...
It only happens in normal mode and not in landscape mode.

Yea noticed that. Happened if the word has been completed right at the end of the text bar. Just type the next word with no space between them and edit in the space later before the 2nd word (rather than after the 1st one which is what causes the problem). Seems a lot of effort though.

Edit: just noticed your solution (landscape) which is a lot easier.
