Quote from: imtommygunn on September 09, 2024, 09:46:19 AMThere was a big difference when Doherty and Coleman went off. Gordon was cleaning Coleman for pace but if he'd have had better cover from Doherty it wouldn't have been as big an issue. Idah got cleaned out. I don't think I've ever seen a defender clear as many balls or win as many headers as Guehi on Saturday. Idah looked completely out of his depth.

Idah was certainly out of his depth but he was on his own too and the balls into him weren't great. But if we are looking for direct balls up the field I would say we are very limited. At the end of the day it was 4th in the world versus 58, its like Liverpool vrs Wycome Wanderers. 2 nil was actually a respectful enough outcome.

Trump already was president (maybe you forgot), no one need to guess what he will do if he wins again. But it wont be good for palestinians for sure. It wont be good for palestinians if Harris wins either. Lesser of two evils, only if you measure evil in millimeters. If you go up to CM there is no difference.

Quote from: Itchy on September 08, 2024, 02:47:37 PMHarris happy to have Dick Cheney on board. Ye are flat out rightly chasing down Trump's every disgusting comment but nothing to say on Harris who thinks she has more in common with Dick than what divides them.

Dick engineered a fake war with Iraq resulting in millions of deaths for those who've forgotten.

The election in the USA is between two turds being decided by some of the most brain dead people the world has ever known.

Cheney belongs in prison along with Bush, Blair and the rest of them.

Harris is still the lessor of two evils in this election.

A bullshit cop out

You think the 'sensible' vote should go to a Putin apologist. Great plan Einstein.

When Trump wins and 10-20 million more Ukrainian refugees come to Western Europe you can greet the new arrivals in your town/village with flowers and tell them it didn't matter.

Listen to me you dopey ****, where did I say you should vote for Trump. Show me. Go on. You are more stupid than the average yanks.

You're a very angry little man aren't you.

Where did I say you said to vote for Trump?

You recommended all 'sensible' voters should waste their vote and vote for Putin apologist Jill Stein.

Any sensible voter should be voting for Harris. Any wasted vote is potentially giving Trump a leg up.

Anyone who's not voting democrat is a Putin apologist in your eyes you haven't the brains you were born with.

We just dont have the players to compete with England, it would be a major shock if we got anything out of it. Hopefully we can but I think being competitive would be a good start. A hammering would not be good.

Someone sensible people in the US could vote for

https://x.com/DrJillStein/status/1830996203066282026?t=v6lhb1C-1Mn60S_sYE_YXw&s=19

If @TheDemocrats lose to Donald Trump again, they have no one to blame but themselves for their failures and betrayals that paved the way for Trump's rise in the first place - and which continue unabated.

In a democracy, no one owns your vote, candidates need to earn your vote - and the only "spoilers" are the political elites who work overtime to deny a meaningful democratic choice to voters who are hungry for real choice.

We urge all people of conscience to reject the corrupt parties of war and Wall Street, and cast a powerful vote against endless war and genocide, for an economy that actually works for working people, and for a livable future for our children.

Quote from: Itchy on September 02, 2024, 09:28:34 PMAmerica think this is a democracy. So if you support green policies and you've a green Councillor in your area you would check polls and if he has no hope you will not vote green and if you do its a wasted vote. Utter utter bullshit and f**king shame on any clown who wastes their democratic vote like that.

It's like something a Healy Rae would come out with.

blah blah blah blah. Not one word of what I said registered did it? So back to repeating your point ad-nauseum.

In reality, it *is* a binary choice in this US presidential election. Like it or lump it - that's what it is.

Maybe at some point in the past it wasn't. Maybe at some point in the future it won't be. But, right now, it is.

So your choices are:
- Hold your nose, accept the kow-towing of Democrats to Israeli hawks, and vote for the one that definitely will not let Putin perform ethnic cleansing in Ukraine with the hope their position on Israel hardens after the election.
- Vote for Trump, ensuring Israel definitely aren't squeezed and also probably ensuring Putin gets to take over all or most of Ukraine, with the resulting displacement or death of hundreds of thousands if not millions.

3rd choice, spoil your vote and register your displeasure at both candidates. Didn't a section of Democrats to this already recently?

I don't care what your predictions are for the winner of the turd election nor your end of the world prediction for the orange Turd winning.

Speak to any Ukrainian and they'll tell you they are absolutely terrified of a Trump victory but Itchy doesn't care a jot.

Only Palestine matters apparently, dead Ukrainians like the 14yo girl that had her head blown off sitting on a park bench yesterday in Kharkiv do not.

What you talking about ya f**king moron.

And I would wager I've personally done more to make Ukrainians welcome and integrated on this country than a fuckin p***k like you ever would.

I'm sorry if I wouldn't vote for a genocide supporting turd like Harris but I'm sure plenty of plastic paddy's will and disgrace themselves.

Quote from: PadraicHenryPearse on September 02, 2024, 08:36:39 PMAs for not voting for Harris will get trump elected, that's on Harris and Democrats policy

You do understand that if someone decides to stay at home and not vote for Harris, then that is effectively +1 to Trump.

If that same person decides to vote for Donald, that is a swing of +2 to Trump?

So yourself and Itchy advocating for either staying away or wasting a vote is by proxy supporting the election of Donald Trump.

Maybe you can't wrap your head around it. Maybe you refuse to admit it in your mind. Either way, its what your both doing.

America think this is a democracy. You think the issue of Palestinians being the victims of a genocide funded by your tax dollars is just some election issue with equal weight to other elections issues like the cost of living. I think that the Genocide of an innocent people paid for, supported by and ignored by the west is the measure of mankind itself and the point of no return for western civilization. It is a disgrace, it is evil. To do nothing only poo poo it is also evil. We are in 1938 Germany again and doing the same thing again. Absolutely horrendous.

Dems are well aware of this and the impact it could have in a state like Michigan.

That impact means you might get your wish with a Trump victory, because that's the only alternative outcome available.

That outcome will be even worse for the Palestinians, and according to his plans, a lot of other people too, including the following:

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/trumps-massive-deportation-plan-echoes-concentration-camp-history/

And those signs are real. You can buy the tshirt too.

You are living in yank land too long. Why dont you show me where I wished for a Trump victory. Either that or withdraw that.

btw Trump said he'd build a wall, he said it every day of his previous campaign. He says whatever he thinks stupid americans want to hear so they will vote for him. You'd have to be pretty stupid to take anything he says at face value.
