Strong enough Armagh team - they're just getting hammered. Kerry be very sore from beating last year you'd imagine.

Neither of them are angels but I suspect they ship a right bit of abuse too mind you.

That's an awful hammering. Also the top teams don't have many county players and some of the lesser teams do so that will contribute to some very one sided matches. Yep it does seem silly we have so many teams in one. I am not sure it benefits anyone.

Reece James is rarely ever fit. He shouldn't be near it either.

Trying to get exposure in American media I suppose. I tell you, if that case finds its way to attention the American right, they will get alot of support.

I think they have a lot of backing online anyway from that kind of crowd.

I wonder is Enoch up to date with paying his fines. If he is then he must have some backing somewhere because he must have accrued some number of fines by now.

I think it is possible the wheels are coming off. Sligo would be favourites on Sunday but hopefully I can be proven wrong. Worst is barring Offaly game I think we have been close enough in most games and they could have went either way though you could say that for a few years.

Slot has them as really pretty ruthlessly efficient rather than being a great team. You need to be great to win in europe really. Part of that maybe is the age demographic as a few I think maybe not quite at that top level pace but I am not sure the midfield is strong enough either for a crack at the CL.

Like someone said could be a big rebuilding job next year but you have to credit Slot as he has done some job. The Carabao cup will be interesting now.

Tbh psg are probably a better team. Liverpool will do well to get through this tie.

Quote from: maigheo on March 11, 2025, 01:14:52 AMYou can bang on about the evil Dems all you want but there is no country on earth that a person like Donald Trump should be elected president. It always seems that you are always trying to justify your support for Trump so you are going the Fox News route by vilifying the Dems and portraying the Lying King as a man of strength.

For 77 Million people who live here who have had it with the Democrats Trump was a better option

Stephen A Smith (look him up if you don't know who he is) said that the Democrats outrageous behavior make Trump look normal

Here's a clip from him speaking just last week

Jesus Christ, when you're using Stephen A Smith as a reference for anything you've lost all credibility. The guy is an absolute numpty. Like a dafter version of Eamon Dunphy.

I think that ship sailed a while ago  ;D

The alternative is not worse. Seems to be a viewpoint that because the alternative is more "woke" they are worse. How could you be worse than this guy - look at the carnage he is causing and he has significant amounts of his tenure to go.

I doubt there'd be much overlap. I was also a bit disappointed in the crowd although tbf I couldn't actually make it myself so can say nothing. There was a good crowd at waterford but even the stand was half empty for the Laois match.Westmeath wasn't that busy either.

What happened to that young Donegal guy Dooher? He got near as bad a beating as I have read.

Quote from: gallsman on March 02, 2025, 08:16:44 PMI remember watching Benn-McClellan as a youngun because it was live on ITV. Even as an 8 year old I was able to understand the savagery of it. A horrifying night.
McClennan was a class fighter. Didn't he put Benn on his arse first round? Fight looked over. But Benn was a tough cookie and clawed his way back into fight with sheer will. Or am I confusing another fight.

You're not. Benn looked toast and was lucky to make it past the first round.

Unfortunately I don't think antrim will be in division 3 football next year...

Yeah double headers would be great. You have to credit Sheehan here - really has done a great job with Down hurlers.

Would Dunloy not pretty much be raging hot favourites to get relegated? (Though I guess if they have their main men back for playoffs that would help then.)

That's a good lineup of games.
