House construction

You obviously we're rearing in a council house built in the 50's

Housing contruction in the North is better than its ever been, there's still cowboy builders, but they're few and far between. The regulations are far tighter than they ever were and that's a good thing.

I'd say there was some shítholes built in the south during the boom all the same when building regulations were 'relaxed' ala those appartment blocks with no Fire certificates and so forth...
