Does anyone know why fixtures are fixed for Sat 10th June, and not the Sunday. Trying to second guess fixtures.
There should be more Friday Saturday game over a season. Frees up the rest of the weekend for enjoyment rather than kill an entire weekend waiting on a game on the sunday. Think Saturday games 4:30 and 6:00 suits everyone and should be done more often.

Agreed

Here lads if we play the games at 6pm on a Saturday evening whose going to do the milking? Catch yourselves on!
Not saying it has to be every week but there could certainly be more Saturday games especially in the summer months. All Sunday killed between travelling reserve and senior games and whole weekend killed waiting for the Sunday game. Would certainly contribute Sunday games to the non fielding of reserve teams over the weekend.

Definitely think about 5-6 Saturday games about 6pm 7pm in the summer months would be a good idea.  There are a lot of family men with young kids who would like to play reserves at least but can't commit to 4.or five hours away on Sunday every Sunday. Sunday afternoon game  effectively writes off their whole Sunday.

Agree with this 100%. I know in our own club we would have better numbers for reserves if more of the games were on a Saturday. I have wife and two kids and it is hard going away on a sunday when they are young.

Anyone in the north have any dealing with Vodafone for broadband and landline calls. Had signed up for it as it seemed to be working out cheaper than BT but on reflection now i think it might have been a mistake. The fact that its 15p for a connection charge everytime u make a call is bugging me.
EE have a deal called 4GEE where you can get 50GB download monthly and you get a small device called an mini osprey 2 which has a sim in it for £27 a month. I use this at home and can stream films and all. Measuring up to 30MB speed and I live in the sticks and I mean really in the sticks but have good 4G service on EE luckily.

It seems to me that most houses in Ireland are poor quality. I wouldn't pay 300K for OFCH. Dublin might be the worst.
Passive housing is the way to go
I agree that many houses are poor quality although I think the cost of building a fully certified passive house is so much greater than a well insulated house that the cost negates the point of doing it. Was told this by an environmental design engineer.

What exactly is this appeal about can anyone care to explain? The ccc have applied the proper regulations and bye law exceptions in this case. It will be Deja-vu for Loughmacrory tripping down to Croke park to lose yet another appeal to their friends in the ccc. The difference being that this playoff scenario will be played to its conclusion. Music to the Rocks ears as they'll have their full complement of men back to fight for survival in December/January.

There must be something wrong with the Tyrone County Decision surely if the Ulster Council overturned it!

Its a hobby innit. No obligation to go to football. I too will opt out next year.

Yes I agree no obligation, I'm not disputing that. What I'm getting at is the fact he was only too happy to play all last year when the rock where riding high on an all Ireland junior run, then when they needed him most he decided to step aside. Not a real clubman if your asking me, that's what separates the senior teams from intermediate/junior.
Its only an opinion but I believe that the quality and quantity of players of a certain standard is what separates Division 1/2/3. For example Greencastle are division 1 because they have many good players. Do you think that the Greencastle team that was in Division 3 had as many good players, but they just weren't committed enough?

That's a fascinating insight. What else might separate teams in sport throughout the world? Alphabetical order? Nice jerseys?
What I believe the poster was saying was that attitude of players is what separates good teams from bad teams is the attitude of their players. I was just saying that it is more to do with the quality of players than the attitude. I would say there are many players in division 3 who are more dedicated than their counterparts in division 1. But thanks for your smartass comment anyway.

But that is my point, the team that was willing to field does not have the chance to increase their scoring difference so is therefore at a disadvantage. Another team not fielding should not have a negative impact on the team that is willing to field. If these rules apply then that is what happens. To be fair to kildress they did not let lough win, lough had more to play for and more hunger and so won the game.

OK then my mistake, they are not making up the rules just applying the ones that do not make sense. i.e, a team being being at a disadvantage due to another team not fielding!

The whole thing is a mess. Gortin are at a disadvantage because the Rock did not field, that has to be wrong. If gortin had played the rock and had managed to beat them they would now be safe. As it stands some of these teams could end up playing 4 games to determine if they are to stay in Division 2. They are making the rules up as they go along!

The whole project stinks. There is no appetite from anyone except the GAA to have the stadium so why are they pushing it so much. I do not believe there are many fans who want casemount to be rebuilt either. I hope the whole things gets canned!!

Who really cares, they are both s*** teams who are going to win nothing.

Thinking about buying a smart TV. What should I look out for? Is there any brand better than others/where to get the best deal etc. All views welcomed..
