It's actually a fantastic gesture ,considering they don't own the rights to broadcast GAA games in 2014 yet? They own the rights this year , that's all

Thats interesting.  How do they get the rights? Is there competition for the rights?

they own the rights for the League in 2014 - the new rights package always kicks in after the League is done.

How do you know they own the rights for the league 2014? They paid for last years rights to all televised GAA in North America . That's all.
