Galway the better team now, bench option has helped, Roscommon have faded. 1-12 to 0-12 Galway lead 51 mins played.

Galway playing with the breeze?  ;D

FT Galway 1-18 Roscommon 1-16. Enjoyable games a real game of two halves with Roscommon the better team first half and Galway the better team 2nd half.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

twohands!!!

Agree with the comments on the colour of the ball/roof/posts.

Current situation is not the best on that front.

Good competitive game - Galway slightly fortunate with the result after their first half performance.

Good workout for both teams ahead of the league.

I'd be surprised if overall scoring totals in football games aren't higher inside the dome (especially at this time of year) with the lack of wind and the sureness of footing on the pitch compared to outside pitches. I think it wouldn't be reflected in higher scoring opportunities but improved conversion rates. Hurling games could be affected too.

Rossfan

Poor second half from our boys with the 10 substitutions not helping but good to see so many lads getting a run out.
Glad to only lose by 2 as we kept plugging to the end.
Hopefully that's the end of competitive inter County fare in the Dome.
Davy's given us a dream to cling to
We're going to bring home the SAM

Decent workout. Our troubles with our own kick out continued again tonight.
We just could not retain our own restarts at all which is in stark contrast to most of the top teams around. Massive improvement needed in this area.

Yes the Dome environment increases the score lines of these winter games. Be something like 1-13 to 1-11 if played in Tuam today. Begs the question what Mayo was at last weekend scoring only 0-13.

On a number of occasions the Galway player knocked down the ball to a Rossie, instead of just leaving it alone and retaining possession. Sean Kelly played a real captain's part with great support from Conroy. Dessie is a talented player but can't seem to make anything work at county level; his club mate Gallagher looked handy on his debut.

Yeah Dessie and Cillian McDaid have had a number of chances now under Pj and haven't taken them.

Yep, looks a really awesome facility, but posts need to have some colouring and for TV coverage I think the orange ball would be ideal.

Seemed to be a lot of light lads who need to bulk up a fair bit getting game time last night, is this a lack of S&C or young bucks who will fill out over time?

seafoid

Ros vs Galway is the usual final. No violence from Mayo until the ground gets hard. Choking later.

Great to see Ian Burke on that side. They are presumably still working on the other exiles.

An Fhairche Abu

Would be more concerned with the GK situation, going back to Power is pointless, he's been tried and clearly isn't good enough for top level IC standard, a fine club keeper, that's it.
