Frustrating as f**k, that was.

But typical of their problems this season. Just can't function when a team sits back, packs the center of the defense and forces them to work it down the wings.

Luckily, top four will remain within reach due to the inconsistency of others.
I dunno J70, with the fixtures they have coming up in April, finishing in the top 4 is a bit of a long shot.

I wouldn't sweat those games. I'd say they'll beat Arsenal and get something from Chelsea. City... probably not, but you never know. It's the games where it's a physical battle against defensive teams that would worry me.

TAA came out and said Bournemouth wanted it more today.

What kind of f**king admission is that to make? And it's not the first time we've heard something like that this season.

Top four is there for them if they want to take it badly enough. The question is whether they do.

Would be very frustrating to miss out.  Newcastle seem to be running on fumes, and Spurs are at a low ebb with Conte probably looking out and the players looking him out.  To not finish above those two would be very poor imo.  Would be more worried about Chelsea getting their act together finally.

That's just weird.

Chelsea are 11 points out of the top 4, with 6 teams in between them and 4th.

All liverpool need to get 4th is a good run, and Spurs/Newcastle to drop points.  Chelsea need to go on a run and 6 teams to drop off.

Perhaps. Certainly irrational but based on years of watching crazy things happen in football at this time of the season.

Milner is the better penalty taker when available.

Agreed. Could put the house on Milner - a machine when it comes to penalties.  Although Salah's record is good I'd always have a slight worry he'll miss, whereas no fears at all with Milner.

The mad thing is both Milner and Salah had the same record until the weekend 30-5.

Never seen Salah miss one

He has missed 6 in his career. 4 for Liverpool and 2 for Egypt.

Has scored 30.
He scored this one when it really mattered

He has missed a couple when it mattered, I think Leicester last year, ended up getting beat and on Saturday.  As a separate point, he seems immune from being substituted. Not sure I would have taken Nunez off ahead of him on Saturday.

Saturday was a typical away performance this year, looked lack lustre up front and always liable to give up a chance that Bournemouth tucked away.

Milner also chased back and did his defensive duties much better than TAA.

Its that time of the year again.

Annnnd the keeper away

Really like this one. If it's genuine.

Gabriel_Hurl

I believe that's the Home keeper jersey. The away is orange.

I like the rumoured away kit - a throwback to the mid 90s.

Wasn't there already a throwback done to that jersey what seems like only a few seasons ago?
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Yup this one here. Midfield of dreams in that pic...keeper of nightmares though!

Orior

Mason mount would definitely add to Liverpool's midfield.
