Not a bad crowd considering the capacity was restricted to 29,000 but in historical terms that is quite poor.

Less than the first round in 2002.
Clones is not being invested in, owing to the debacle in Belfast and it may not hold more than 29,000 either.

It was sold out.

No reason they couldn't have had another 5,000 if they had been allowed to.

Crazy on Munster final, I was at the 1987 replay in Killarney, there was 53k official in attendance, probably more like 60k + were in the stadium.
did a single policeman on a white horse control the crowds

Wouldn't take much to make it a little more comfortable. Some proper seats and a roof over the Roslea end, with a permanent big screen, and it could stay fit for purpose for years to come. And if it needs expanded, there's a perfect Nally stand sized gap in the corner of the ground...

Extremely poor attendance, where has the great Mayo support gone? Sure they even had T.Ds complaining in the Dail for people who couldnt get tickets for the All Ireland Final.

They can make themselves look good travelling, why is that, the day trip event junkie, the glamour of the away tie...

Its an interesting one.

Appalling attendance for a Munster final. Must be one of the lowest ever.
