Tyrone / Re: Tyrone County Football and Hurling

Enda McGinley was a prime example of this.  When Tyrone eon their first all ireland I didn't really rate him as a corner forward.  Fast forward to 2008 and he was rolling between midfield and attack and was in the runingvfor footballer of the year.  Good luck to the young fellas and mcglennan

I would say it annoys the unionists/loyalists more than the republicans/nationalists.  While it isn't great it is worthwhile doing on the long run

No he was sent off for running into a man which was soft in the extreme.
You are correct though, he should have went for striking at the weekend

Great second half and a good confidence boost going forward.  A roscommon victory might be better for us tomorrow?
Don't like focusing on a negative but what was Kilpatrick doing at the end there.  Acting the superman again.  Better off with a boy like not on the team as it'll cost us in the long run in a much bigger game.  Opposing teams will wind him up to get those reactions.  Wise up ffs

100% agree with these sentiments.  I hope casement is built but it'll be nowhere near as good as a day at clones.  The craic in the town, the walk up the hill, the bars, fantastic.  As a Tyrone fan maybe I won't experience another ulster final there.  Maybe next year we'll get favourable draws like armagh have got recently

Kerry without the Clifford's are a completely different proposition to kerry with the Clifford's.  A test but not a huge one

No harm Captain Scarlett but I'm sure Potter has his eyes on more attractive posts than ireland manager.  We're shopping in the championship level, potter is premier league. Dean Smith might be more our level fair enough

Honestly think it's a better appt than lennon or poyet for that matter.  Much more international experience.  Not as good as carsley but who else is there

Quote from: Captain Obvious on February 18, 2024, 05:35:17 PMTyrone 2021 was the worst All-Ireland winning team since Dublin in 1995. Dublin wouldn't reach another final after that until 2011.

No, I think Derry in 93 were the worst all ireland winning team considering they had basically no real forwards.  Excellent defence and midfield and some good free takers
