We'll have one for a few months at least next year. Just when we got to a county final this year.  :(

Lads, mayogodhelphim is probably licking Enda Kenny's hole right now! ;) Or maybe John O'Mahony.

QuoteGARY NEVILLE has stuck the boot in on Liverpool by blasting: You got what you deserved!
The Manchester United skipper is well-known for his run-ins with Reds fans over the years.

And he has wasted no time in twisting the knife after Rafa Benitez's side were knocked out of the Champions League this week.

Neville said: "As a team, you get what you deserve don't you?

"We are where we are because we deserve to be there and it's the same with Liverpool.

"We went out ourselves a few years back. They just haven't performed well enough in the Champions League to get the results."

Good man Gary :D

Pretty much the same as what Gerrard said after the match - non story

Fair play to Neville, he must have learnt how to read since he stopped trying to grow his Tache. First Fergie has a go at agents and a few days later Neville repeats it in an interview. Now he repeats Stevie G.

Who's next for the Neviller? Obama? Cowen? Hawkings?

Still nice of him to have a go at Liverpool though! :D

For Monsignor James Horan

The friggers who design these can't even spell 'Críost Linn' correctly. ::)

So if they get €1.6M, they're still not professional no??? What's that money going to be spent on? Player welfare? Dessie Farrell himself?

My proposal would be to bring in a MAXIMUM wage of €100000/annum for government officials. The rest of the country should be forced to live with less than this. And bring down the cost of living to suit people's needs (if that could be done) :-\.

Every multinational and anyone of talent would be gone in the morning.

Why? They'd have less to pay their employers.

I'd rather to see the Ballyhaunis motion refer to the way it was in the 90s, when the League was important. When relegation from the league meant losing whatever status you were in. If that was the case I'd be all for it.

For all tose pro-GPA men out there: How do you know that the GPA won't look for professionalism and elitism IN FUTURE??? They've already gotten a €1.6million boost from the GAA. Who knows what they will ask for next?

Sorry there myles, I meant those who were working in the building private sector. They wouldn't touch a public sector job a couple of years ago and they had wages as high (higher) as the public sector back then.

However, the Unions did push for too much and they got their wishes and won't accept a pay cut when everyone wants them to. Now they are redundant and it has a domino effect on the rest of the private sector with others losing jobs. The public sector (who had security and still do, most of them) are blamed for all the ills of the country and are made look bad.

The only ones who are laughing are the government as they don't seem to be taking much blame for anything IMHO.

Gibson has been disappointing first half.

Pompey have sacked Paul Hart.   We can expect the the Portsmouth players to play the "game of their lives" that usually follows any manager's parting.

I agree and Portsmouth is down beside Southampton, an unhappy hunting ground for Utd for lots of seasons. Remember the 6-3 loss back in the 90s. And by God Pompey will be up for the game because it's Utd. Hopefully the fringe players will play well tonight.
