Clonoe beat Carrickmore by 5 last night. Game changed when Conor Gormley was sent of just before half time. Clonoe were poor enough but still managed to get the win.

I thought we where not to0 bad not great either, most of us would have bitten your hand off to still be unbeaten after the horror show V Donaghmore first day out, heard lots of talk about relegation that day leaving Dmore.... Conor Gormley has been sent off against us some amount of times....
Few late scores and a missed goal chance when we were 3 down with 5 to go proved the difference on the day but up to that it was a close game.  I thought the referee totally lost control of the game and was giving frees when they blatantly weren't, giving marks (even though the ball had been dropped mid jump). Any clonoe opinions on his display?

Ref was very poor. Yeah he gave Colly Doris a mark when he dropped the ball. Thought Carrickmore wasted Munroe by playing him in full back. Gormleys red was harsh I thought, he was trying to shake the player of and caught him accidentally. Maybe its Karma for all the times he did it purposely and got away with it.

Two players going at it is tolerable

Mentors getting involved with players should not be tolerated and good to see Daisy getting suspended.

But non playing non coaching people storming the field is a disgrace and there should be a far heavier punishment for this as it sends out a message that this is okay!

Also would be good to know if Clonoe as a club would discipline grey hoodie as he was way over the line.

To be honest i would think not....no point telling a lie about it.... But i know there has been a meeting about it and field security was top of the agenda....
Just on a note on field Security....you hand an away team and your own team 5 passes... the left overs stand outside the wire a while and then just hop over the fence...You can maybe monitor your own people but you have no chance with an away team....

I will give you an Example we played Omagh in Clonoe last year... Their Senior players and management refused to even wait to the reserve match was over....some ignored our man doing the gate entering the field most just hoped the wire and started warming up with about 10 mins of the Reserve game to go...

Did they warm up on the pitch while the reserve game was still on ???

Actually was that the game where the clonoe substitute/water carrier hit one of the Omagh players. One of the gallaghers I think

Might have been, a future county trainor hit him i think and then searched the country for some man to take the blame because he was a school teacher...

Didn't realise anyone got blamed for the strike. Don't think it was caught on camera, or maybe it was

It was the same day when your senior team warmed during the reserve game yes...

What a crime, warming up during the reserve game. Behind the goals I presume ?

No from what I remember it was in the bottom corner of the pitch and up and down the sideline. At least 20 of them and the reserve game still going.
At least 20 !!!

That's a lot of players to be holding back from playing reserves. But I'm sure that you are not exaggerating

5's not a big number last time I checked

Been reading this with interest, and apart from the obvious comments made about it, one question in my head is why Errigal released an edited version of the incident and did not include the footage of their mentor entering the field to hit an opposition player, which seems to be the reason this erupted. Why do they release it at all. If I was from the Clonoe club I would be extremely pissed of with Errigal, really poor from them

It was very clearly a deliberate ploy by Errigal to take any attention away from the fool that started the whole thing. Smart move by them.

Laughable really an Omagh supporter coming on here questioning Clonoe and Carrickmores character. Take a look at your own club before you start taking the moral high ground with other clubs.

Anyone having issues with Exodus and Phoenix on the firestick? Trying to watch House of Cards and the links are freezing up and sometimes not playing at all. Doesn't seem to be any HD links either.

Got to agree with this, unreal the amount of people that be on the sideline in some senior games. Same rules as the Championship should apply with only a certain amount of players/officials allowed in the dugout. Although in last years championship this rule was constantly ignored and went unpunished.

We are guilty of this as well... Only a matter of time before there is a bad day somewhere is the county....

Far to may along the line for us this past few years, don't know what role half of these men have, quite possible they don't know either.

Watched 13 reasons why over the last 2 weekends after it was all over the news and Fbook and that, thought it was good show but some disturbing scenes in the last few episodes.  Is it marketed for teenagers/ young adults?

Was wondering that myself, was it glamorising suicide to an extent? Last episode had one scene in particular that was very hard to watch.

very unfair on those lads. training thursday night, friday and saturday then match sunday. should never had been let happen.

There will be some uproar about club football now, as Mickey will take no responsibility for this.

Hugh McGeary never played for pomeroy, got injured on the tyrone weekend. McNabb and Sludden didn't play for Dromore either. K McGeary, Burns and McCarron played.

Tiernan McCann didn't play against Clonoe. The outfield Tyrone players on both sides were down with cramp on numerous occasions in the 2nd half, clearly a tough weekends training over them. Bradley went of injured in the 2nd half.

Dublin are the best team in Ireland - They played there 1st round of championship last night and this included U21 players who have an all ireland final tomorrow week.

I know there are similarities with other counties but for people to be blind to what Micky is doing in this case says to me that they are merely followers of a cult leader.

Calling late player away weekends - calling late training games - telling players not to play - Its just not right!

And if Tyrone played their club championship games this early there'd be a huge outcry that it was for money or to get the games out of the road.

And if we're going to talk Dublin why not compare the player availability v Tyrone. McMahon or copper from Dublin recently said they only played 4 games for their club last year due to county commitments. Gavin has huge access too his players.

The games continue in Dublin without them, they come to a standstill here when county men aren't available. If Tyrone clubs adopted a policy of fielding without county men and it meant constant football for all club players both senior and reserve id be all for it.

Wouldn't like to see it get to that stage as games are better for having the best players involved. Some form of compromise is needed though. Definitely thought the county board solution of 11 starred games would have improved the fixtures with more regular games all summer. Was surprised how many were against it.

Cant understand anyone being against it. If club players were getting games consistently then the majority would be happy. It is eventually going to get to the stage that players are contracted to Tyrone and wont get to play for their clubs like rugby. Not something I would like to see but that's the road its heading imo.
