What happened Carrickmore tonight? We're the missing many? Well beat by a mediocre Clarkes team

Paul Donaghy appears to have cut his American trip short which would explain the Clarke's recent turnaround in their results.

2nd best on the night - no arguments. Yes we are missing 4/5 men to America, a couple on holiday and a couple just returned Monday night.  Not an ideal time of the year to be dropping points and but Im sure there will be a response at Derrylaughan Sunday.

Was wondering, why is Donaghy home from the states?

Was Donaghy just on holidays in USA or over to play football?
In previous years, I am fairly sure there was a 60/90 day period whereby your transfer had to hold meaning you could not play for your home club again until that expired.
Obviously that is not the case nowadays, probably explains why so many young lads have went stateside over the last while

Must have been just over for a holiday as only missed a couple of games for clarkes. Dungannon and Carrickmore both missing plenty of men last night by the sounds of it. Most teams in the same boat. have to say I don't recall a year where as many were away to the states, but that's obviously pent up demand from last couple of years

Has anyone any idea of what week we should expect to see games changed from Friday night? I know it'll be coming soon but just wondering is any word out? The light is fading...

Thought he was over to play football. It's a 30 day rule nowadays I think.

Clarke's were missing players 5 starting players as well, we weren't the only ones no excuses. Clarke's wanted it more, every breaking ball they were coming away with. Paddy quinn and donaghy put an exhibition on. Daly Jones for them had a great game also

Latest rumour is that  games will be brought forward to 6:30 and 7:45 as they were when leagues were threw in and will conclude on Fridays.

That won't make much difference. The light fades by 20 minutes a week at the minute so affectively by mid August we are losing an hour. Surely it will have to go to Sunday from then onwards.
It is almost impossible for reserve teams to field at 6.30pm especially if they have to travel any distance for the game

Under Lights

Would be a good idea to start the reserve leagues earlier, by the time the shorter evenings came in it would be a senior only fixture.

The reserves are one round ahead as they kicked off the week u20s were in final. But no reason they could've started another 2-3 weeks earlier and would be almost wrapped up by now
