Quote from: tyrone08 on July 04, 2025, 07:02:23 PMThoughts on moving mattie closer to goal and starting sparky. Mattie has the physical presence missing in forward line and sparky has the speed and movement.

Would allow us to end with our strongest team on the pitch.

Also option of rotating kennedy or conn into forwards for a few long balls throughout the match.

Can't see it, Matty at 11 seems the order of the day with Dazzler and Darragh inside, they definitely start with that

Interesting one for me is whether Petey Harte starts or held in reserve, I'd be inclined to start him

The thing is thats what everyone is half expecting. As tyrone havent been putting in great performances they need something unexpected. Definitely think big kennedy in for a few long balls would cause a bit of chaos.

If you start with mccurry and darragh who do you bring on to change it up other than McElholm

True, a surprise tactical move can often pay dividends, I feel with Tyrone lack of depth and a number of potential limitations that big Kennedy should be let play his specialist position without roving to an ad hoc FF role that will render him out of the game when they inevitably don't kick to him

The Kennedy FF role is not one I would go for too often. Tried for a couple of years under Dooher and Logan and not much came of it. Kennedy will have enuf running to do

An Watcher

We've plenty of other big lads who could cause problems in there.  Kennedy is too important for midfield.

Matthew F Daly super since coming on.

Does anyone have a list of players and clubs?

3 of those Fintona players stood out today. Along with the U20 lad Donnelly they might make a stab at Intermediate in a couple of years time.

Well seen. Fintona with good numbers on Omagh CBS teams the last 2-3 years, definitely a coming team, deserve all they get for a big investment in youth

Interesting to see if Donnelly can punch into Tyrone seniors the next few years, all 3 half backs got on U20 team of the year, also the last 3 U20 poty been Tyrone

The transition to senior is a big jump, how's Potter from Killyclogher going at the minute, looked like a prospect to me, and Owens from Beragh has a bit about him

Aaron Boone

A good Tyrone crowd travelled today to Newbridge.

I'm not expecting too many to go to Croke Park next Saturday. It's never easy planning a journey on the Twelfth. Augher, Sixmilecross and Coagh have the Tyrone demonstrations, so they are towns to definitely avoid.

Yes looked liked a decent crowd which was good to see. Next week you never know but realistically a lot of Tyrone folk will probably head to the likes of the
Downings instead.
