Cards - 25s / 45s

Hi

Doing some research on traditional Irish card games how many people play either 25 or 45 - just wondering where these games are played?

From personal experience, I know 25 is played in:

Mayo
Tipperary
Westmeath
Meath

45:
Cork

31:
Kerry

Are they played at all in London / US?

Any help on filling in the blanks would be greatly appreciated

25 & 45 played in Derry, Fermanagh and Tyrone. Mostly in the rural pubs and the odd clubhouse a night a week except during the summer.

45 - Best card game ever - played it in Co.Down, Antrim and Meath

Armagh, particularly at Christmas when they play for turkeys

25,45 and Whist all popular in Down

25 and whist are still fairly strong in Armagh

45 - Limerick as well.

Always heard it said that 25 = West and 45 = South.

Apparently it's 41 they play in Kerry - not sure if that's instead of or along with 31. The 5 gets 11 and the best trump (if the 5 isn't out) gets 10.

Yes used to play it years ago but i forget the rules at this stage . Used to love playing 25 . Could any of ye computer wizards out there set up online 25
