Gary Neville can't hide his bias  ;D  even cheered when Newcastle scored.

Arsenal are the Mayo of the Premier Division.  Damien Rice is akin to Aidan O'Shea.

Arsenal are not Mayo. Newcastle are. Arsenal are Some one who won something 20 years ago and got good again lately, but can't seal the deal.
Offaly are Sunderland.

Very true about Newcastle.  Have lost in last 10 visits to Wembley since 1955.They missing Peggy Gordon, Louis Hall and Botman duds. Plenty duds like Dan Burns and Jacob Murphy will ensure a  handy win for Pool to secure the double.

You fairly put the f**king scud on there.

As a neutral it's a decent game, best team winning at the moment

Games can change in a heartbeat though

But look for Liverpool it's all been about the league
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

J70

Thoroughly deserved lead for Newcastle. Totally on top in midfield.

Aaron Boone

It's all about the League. Currently 23 points ahead of Newcastle there.

This run of form not ideal coming up to the league run-in.

 ;D

I'd say that if there was a decent team that was putting in the effort

Newcastle sitting the bed. Too many English lads on the team.

Minus15

Incompetent officials. There was at least another minute to be played based on the stoppages in stoppage time.

100% and who could begrudge them.
70 years is a long time.
A shame it had to happen against Liverpool but them the breaks.
Hate losing finals but if we would have won it would have been just the Carabao Cup for Liverpool, for Newcastle it's the stuff of dreams.

That's the worry now. At least there is a good break until the next game.

Captain Obvious

With the League title already won the season is effectively over for Liverpool today with a league cup final lost against a Newcastle team who hasn't won a domestic trophy since the 50s not a good look whatever way you dress it up.

Very disappointing performance and we were never in it. Congrats to Newcastle but boys they have some hateful heurs in there.

Who was blowing that fecking whistle?!!
