But yet if a catholic farmers sheep had gotten union jacks painted on them there would be outrage on here.

i'll second that...serious case of double standards lads....this is costing the farmer money and should have a police investigation

how is it costing the farmer money tankie ? is he going to get them dry cleaned or something ?

he could lose the unborn and also cannot give them a hair cut until the dye comes out, there is also just the general hasstle that comes with acts of vandalism
He didnt lose any lambs and almost every sheep in the country has paint markings on their fleece and they dont wait until the dye come out!

Is saying "poor farmer", not like saying "honest banker" or "happy smiling unionist", surely these things do not exist!
Tbc....

Could the farmer not use his initiative and sell wooly jumpers to Carrickmore and  Kildress supporters?

And thats exactly why the BBC would have put the story up. It might well be a daft story but its the kind of thing that will get loads of hits, its among the top 5 watched videos on BBC online today. Those posters who questioned why the Beeb ran the story should be feeling a bit sheepish now.

Sure sheep in south Derry live with a permanent state of stress and neck ache due to constantly looking behind them...
