Shocking news, thought it was a wind up but clearly not. Sincerest sympathies to his wife, kids, family and all who knew him.

Some pillock alright. I bet he felt like a right clown afterwards. When people like this are elected to the Dail it shows the class of people that have voted them in!

Like Jackie Healy Rae?

Or John O'Donoghue

Indeed, I remember thinking after the last 2 Connacht finals that the minors wouldn't go much further anyways and then sure enough the go all the way to the final.

Tyrone don't exactly have small men either, be hard to name a couple of players under 6 foot. I'm looking forward to see how Dempsey gets on with the U21s, i've high hopes for him.

Subject: The Bathtub Test ...

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug.  Do you want a bed near the window?"

ARE YOU GOING TO PASS THIS ON, OR DO YOU WANT THE BED NEXT TO MINE?

Kildalkey hurlers in Meath and the Rathvilly footballers in Carlow won the junior and senior championships. Good going.
