Balls to that. Wouldn't have scored if they were there for another hour. Lovely finish from Long.
Hope they go on to win it now.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

The spark is gone. Lallana, Sturridge, Matip all very, very poor. They need something to ignite them again quickly or this season will go rapidly downhill.

Welcome back Stevie!!!  You've brought back that touch of failure that Anfield was so used to under your stewardship!!!   ;D

Toothless.  Firmino,  Lalana,  Sturridge and Coutinho all very poor tonight.  Can beyond poor.  Would like to see the stats of wins with and without Mane playing.

Klopp would have lost the final anyway

When you play a front 4 of Lallana, Firmino, Sturridge and Coutinho, and still create f**k all apart from two pathetic efforts by Sturridge, you know there's something wrong. Unfortunately too many of the attacking players are just bang out of form at the moment. You could see they were trying, but it was so static. The flowing movement of early in the season is completely missing. And when you're that static, and don't have much width, you're easy to defend.

Fixed that for you

Beginning to think that Stallion is right. Liverpool so easy to play against now. Just hard work and keep your shape at the back. Something is badly going wrong. No inventiveness at all. Would love to see a stat on how many  milner corners actually reach the box.

Daniel Sturridge's ability to fall over repeatedly is truly remarkable.

He was very frustrating tonight. When Mané is back, Sturridge is going to be lucky to get 10 minutes at the end of a game.

Especially with United the likely opposition!

That said, they need to come out with a lot more urgency and movement and drag Southampton out of position all across the field to find openings in the bus, not the passive shit they pulled against Swansea on Saturday. If they slowly switch it wing to wing, they can just sit there, pack the centre and the box, and we'll be looking at a 0-0 or 1-0 defeat when Southampton find Shane Long on the break.

Well that was sadly predictable.

Need to pull it together and quick. Wouldn't have scored if they'd another 180 minutes to do it.

Remember I was ridiculed for correctly pointing out Klopp is not a good manager, and Hemderson, Milner and Origi amongst others are terrible footballers?

No need to apologise.
