What are peoples views on these groups?
Firstly i think they do great work in that they expose dirty old men etc and obviously the more creeps and perverts are taken off our streets the better.

What i did have an issue with is the way they now have to expose it all on Facebook live.
I watched one the other night of a man down Dunloy direction. He had been thinking he was talking to a young girl of about 13 i think. Talking all the filth of the day. Disgusting by all accounts.
These people landed to his door at 11 on sunday night and went through this all in front of his wife, daughter etc. Now whilst not showing the wife and daughters face you could hear the daughter crying. This all going out on facebook live. WTF. Surely the best thing in that instance is to hand the evidence to the police and let them deal with it. If you want to expose him then surely there are better ways than facebook live. Its the family who pick up the pieces afterwards. Imagine a teenage daughter knowing 3.5k people were watching all that. How is she meant to face the real world. The whole thing sicked me entirely. Obviously what he did disgusts me that goes without saying.

He killed himself the next day also.

Terrible situation.

General discussion / Internet throttling
March 14, 2016, 10:06:58 AM
Has anyone experience of providers doing this? Our speed is round 15 or so at the minute but we never had bother with watching sky on demand/netflix/ you tube etc but this week we have noticed that any time we try to watch anything on catch up or netflix/ kodi etc it just will not play. Buffers completely and is complete waste of time trying to watch anything.
When i run the speedtest on my phone the connection hasnt dropped or got any slower but it just seems to be the tv. I have looked up a bit about it and i presume they are throttling the internet. Is that a common enough thing and what can we do about it?

General discussion / Seating at Odyssey
February 10, 2016, 09:33:56 AM
Bit of quick advice. Going to see Dynamo next month in the Odyssey and the tickets i can get are either row 11 on the ground floor or upper south near the front. I know it isnt tiered seating on the ground floor and dont wanna be stuck seeing feck all.

Which would you go for? (Save the responses saying why are you going to that shite!)

General discussion / Thoughts please
September 10, 2015, 01:24:22 PM
This is a bit of a random one and may seem a bit stupid but anyway here goes.

I was driving to work this morning and few miles up the road from home this taxi driver on the side of the road waved me down, said he had flat tyre, no jack and could he use my phone to call his office. Of course i said yeah thats fine. Then he says oh i have a kid in the car will you take him to school. Without even thinking and although i was running late for work i said ok and he takes this little 4 year old child out of his taxi and puts him in the front of my car and off i go!!!!

It was only as i was driving the child down the road i thought what the actual hell!!! I could be anyone and that man asked me nothing just took a child and placed him in my car and let me drive off. Im half minded to call the taxi firm and tell them it was a disgrace but maybe thats being petty and silly.

General discussion / Bt sports/ Sky sports
March 26, 2014, 03:17:51 PM
Random question here but is there any difference in BT sport and Sky sports as in can most of the same stuff be watched? We are paying 16 a month for sky sports on our package and just realised that we can apparently get bt sports for free on sky as we have bt broadband.
Wanted anyones views on it before i call up tonight and have the sports removed.

General discussion / Acer iconia help
December 29, 2013, 04:06:14 PM
Random question but got the other half one of these it's really only for simple browsing as he wouldn't use it much so thought this would be handy. He's downloaded the utv app for news etc and news videos but when he goes in to watch the videos it only plays about the first ten seconds or so. I tried it on my galaxy tablet and they play fully on it no problem. Anyone any ideas? Is there something simple we should be doing? Thanks in anticipation of any help

General discussion / Job applications
December 03, 2012, 10:58:10 AM
Are companies legally obliged to keep a job open to the closing date they have advertised?

I know its not gonna make any difference now but im absolutely furious.
There was job advertised about 2 weeks ago with a closing date of 9th December. I had done up the CV and covering letter etc over the weekend as was first opportunity i had to get it done. Planned to email it through yesterday and went to the ni job finders link again to send it through and it says job no longer available so i phoned them this morning and they said the jobs filled. I asked why there is a closing date for 9th December and they said they dont know but it is filled regardless.

General discussion / Mice help
December 01, 2011, 09:32:11 AM
Right no pisstakers as this is doing my head in. I could cry with frustration and exhaustion  >:(

Woke up last wed night to this rustling match in me room, it went on and on so eventually i got up and retreated to the sofa thinking it was a mouse. So went and lay on the sofa and the next day our ones set a trap and got a mouse i think the third day, after me lying on sofa for two nights and having me neck and back broke.

So the mouse was caught on fri so i decided sleep in it friday night and saturday night so all was grand no noises then on sunday night this noise starts again, up to sofa again i went. Same thing on Monday night, no noise tuesday night so was thinking right everythings ok. So into the bed last night and woke to the noise again last nite at 3 am.
My head is about to go. I cant get a decent nights sleep cos even when i ly in the bed im shit scared and cant sleep right. Then the other nites im having broken sleep trying to sleep on sofa and up and down etc. The traps been there since the first one was caught last friday, surely a trap would have caught another one by now.

Has anyone any tips on how to get rid of whatevers there cos i am bloody exhausted and cant stick this another night  :-\ :'(

General discussion / Car help again
October 19, 2011, 10:16:12 AM
Right my heads about to go completely! Posted up here round start of august about car trouble. Bought it at end of June and start of August check injection was coming up on it. After it going back and forward to mechanic all of august as the fault light continued to come back on every wk or so i thought it was sorted. Apparently injectors were all coded wrongly etc etc. 2 weeks ago same thing came on in car, fault codes showing injector 2 but injectors are all apparently fine and they have been coded and recoded etc. Have it back 5 days and fecking went out this morning to start and took 10 times to get it started and same thing on again. Car drives perfectly but the problem is when its starting. If its left for any length of time it is nightmare. Apparently the last mechanic who worked on it said he thought it was something electrical causing the injection fault to go. Has anyone any ideas. I could bloody well cry its pissing me off that much! Im fuming also with the dealer who sold it to me as i reckon he knew rightly the scrap he was selling me.

General discussion / Cars from England
April 14, 2011, 03:24:57 PM
Getting a new motor but from what i can see cars over here seem to be seriously higher prices than those in England. Like cars a year or two older and far more miles for maybe £700 quid more than in England for better year and mileage. Why is this? Is it worth for a car worth about 3 grand getting one brought over. Does it cost much
