First English team to beat Bayern at home since Norwich in 1993?

from how many attempts?

United 3 times at least, Arsenal 2, Chelsea 1 or 2...

Actually, City beat them in 2013. Never mind.

Utd beat them when it mattered

Mane is the new Salah.... :D
Fantastic performance,  apart from the few mins from the own goal to half time Liverpool controlled that game.
Really professional performance.
Don't care who we get in the next round.
Don't think the early substitution did us any harm at all, but happy with that performance. Completely controlled the second half and a nice bonus of Salah doing something brilliant resulting in a goal, for the first time in a few games. (Although I really wish Gini had given him that pass at the end rather than blazing it into row Z).

I'd hate to get City or Barca next, and wouldnt be too keen on Juve. Obviously Porto and Ajax would be the plum draws on paper, although don't know enough about either to say that with certainty. For a CL quarter-final, you certainly couldnt complain about getting either United or Spurs. Could lose against them, but would fancy our chances over two legs.

Obviously European games were just more memorable years ago. I could remember scores and goal scorers from 20 years ago yet couldn't remember a match from last week.

I think that's a result of being oversaturated by football these days. Nothing becomes memorable.

I think you're right. Or else we're just old farts. I could even remember Goss' goal. I was on work placement down in Killorglin and remember sitting in the living room watching it.

He also scored the last goal in front of the old Kop in 1994

Liverpool v United final anyone? Nice away day in Madrid, with hopefully Barcelona thrown in along the way for good measure.  8)

You'd have to want the weakest side left in it so United next please!

That's right. Top corner half volley. 1-0 win

Yet I can hardly remember a goal from last week  :o

United definitely aren't the weakest side left in the CL. Porto would be the dream draw. Spurs aren't exactly pulling up trees either.
I just fancy a nice few days in Barca. Munich has been cold and damp.

United have beat no one special. Was a very weakened PSG team they played.  Arsenal proved at the weekend how poor they are.

antrimgael1985

looking some advice here.
I have been travelling over for Liverpool matches for about 10 years and have been getting tickets from a few different sources but getting more and more difficult.
Would there be any supporters clubs that you know of that would take members during the close season?  The members sale on the club website is a bit of a disaster.

Do you remember Dave Barry scoring when Cork City beat Bayern at the Mardyke (I think)??

Doesn't look like they beat them but still not a shabby result...
