I have to wonder why this score has been posted in a thread entitled Ulster Minor Football Championship 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!  ???

Congratulations to the Armagh panel & management, fully deserving of the win yesterday, nice to have a wee bit of silverware to celebrate.  :)

Unless I've missed it the Armagh v Fermanagh semi final score isn't listed, so for anyone who wanted to know the score it was Armagh 2-18 Fermanagh 0-6

Armagh / Re: Armagh Club football & hurling

I thought Jamie Clarke had another excellent game tonight, even in these conditions he hardly dropped a ball!  Thought Aaron Cunningham looked lively as well.

Poor night for football, but then our glorious Summer is over  ;)

GAA Discussion / Re: All-Ireland MFC 2010

Not long home from Croker, long day out!  Totally gutted by the result in our match, as stated earlier Armagh were the better team, but the old saying is true, goals win matches & unfortunately we shipped 3 today, the last one being the killer, obviously.  I have to say I was very proud of how the boys played & their commitment throughout the entire game after they were so comprehensively beaten in the Ulster Final.  Luck was not on our side today otherwise we'd be facing the prospect of an All Ireland Semi Final  :'(

Many thanks to the management & the panel for a lot of happy days out this year.

Went to see Inception on Sunday night, thought it was one of the best films I've seen in a while but I wasn't happy with the ending, I have to be told one way or the other, hate being left to decide for myself.  :-\  It's a film I would even consider going back to see again in the cinema & that's a rarity.

No mackers I wasn't calling you a critic of Henderson, but there were many critics of him last year after he failed to produce the same type of performance as he did in the first match of the League against Wexford, personally I think these supporters were being slightly unfair on him, he deserves a chance to settle in to the panel & hopefully team.  I think we're all hoping that a few more performances from him like we had on Saturday night could see his confidence build along with a consistency in his play.

Egans is a great spot for food alright & quick service too.

Yes fitzroyalty that's our run in, I would say it's not the easiest, especially after you look at this weekend's results, which for me threw up a few surprises!

Apparently McKenna has lost interest in football at the minute, perhaps he was hearing all the chat about the expectations for him at county level, it may have had a negative effect, who knows.

It's great to see Henderson getting on the scoresheet regularly now & I was delighted that it was him who scored the winning point last ngiht.  I disagree though about him not being a ball winner, play the right ball into him & he can not only win it, but turn & leave his marker behind him, with the strong possibility of either a score or a good lay off as the end product.  Last night's game & result will hopefully have helped his confidence & perhaps leave his critics with slightly less to say, long may these sort of performances for him continue.

"Kevin Dyas was a huge disappointment, never in the game and was subbed early (I take it he didn't pick up an injury?)."

Kevin was immediately strapped with ice bags on both his ribs & his shoulder after coming off, so I presume he did pick up an injury, the physio had already been on with him twice checking on both areas.  I have to say I thought he'd delivered a couple of good balls before picking up this injury.

Love it, love it, love it, I'm definitely a Gleek  ;)

I have to admit I'd rate Noah over Finn, but hey they're both fairly easy on the eye.

GAA Discussion / Re: Inter-Provincial championship

Joining this discussion a wee bit late in the day but I have to say I love the inter provincial matches.  I went to Cross for the semi & cheered on just as loudly as I would do for my county, I would have attended the final if it had been here.  The players who take part in these matches give their all to it which I think is great to see, I would just like to see it promoted properly to get the recognition it deserves.  Anyhow, Congratulations to Big Joe & the Ulster panel, always nice to get a win, just hope Ciaran McKeever's injury isn't too serious  :(

Yep I'd seen that Ziggy is in it.  Not judging it against "The Wire" will just be interested to see how it compares, something similar to purposely hunting out books by an author I've read & liked.

I see there's a new mini series starting on Channel 4 on Wednesday night "Generation Kill" from the creators of "The Wire", has anyone already seen this?  I'm going to check it out to see if it can in any way live up to the classic that is "The Wire"
