Forgot the Payton draft was happening. The yahoo email address I use for this league is my junk email address which I rarely log into. Yahoo gave my draft a D. I guess I will have to work the free agent market.

Don't forget you have the Nets in Brooklyn in the Barclay's centre too. Go see the one with the better visiting opponent

The Nets will definitely be cheaper.

WFUV, a National Public Radio station broadcast by Fordham University in NYC, had the hurling final on live today. Sounded like Marty Morrisey doing the commentary. A pleasant surprise given that I had to leave the house and head out for the day in the car! They usually do Irish music on Sunday mornings/early afternoons.

The have been broadcasting both All Ireland finals for a few years now. I have listened a few times.

Is the weekend off to play a friendly thing new this season or has it happened before?

Sinn Fein probably realise that refusing to meet a political party because you disagree with them is a stupid idea.

I just used it as an example of the extreme anti religious sentiment that exists on the far left

But what you succeeded in doing is proving that the so called "extreme anti religious sentiment that exists on the far left" is nothing more than right wing internet windbags getting their knickers in the twist about minor PTA arguments.

If you search for Butler Belmont Nutcracker you get thousands of hits the most prominent of which are the usual range of right wing perpetually offended websites like Fox, The Blaze, World Nut Daily etc.

Over a PTA organized school trip.

Well I don't know anything about those websites, but seeing as I actually live on Boston I saw it on the evening news, read about it on the Boston Globe and spoke about it with people whose kids actually attend the school in question

Left wing zealots are just as bigoted and intolerant as the religious right

Whenever the parents complained the PTA decided to go ahead with the trip. Seems reasonable to me.

Agree with separation of church and state, but disagree with über PC crap like the PTA who cancelled a trip to see the nutcracker in case anyone was offended by a Christmas Tree

The trip went ahead.

After an uproar by people with some common sense

Precisely. I was a 2 day wonder at with some small school PTA. Not something to be stressing about years later.
