Happy Thanksgiving to all the yanks on here... yes, even those of
you that are extremely uncomfortable being here  ;D

What is Thanksgiving? (I don't mean in 1650 or whenever)
It's giving thanks!

It's none of your business.
Those headlights have gone desperate dim on what is clearly an empty vessel !

As opposed to here with you lads telling me what I'm thinking :D

You misunderstand. Mis-underestimate ( you're slipping )

We don't believe you do any thinking at all.  ;D
Just not for everyone else  :P

Strangely enough I had tried to concoct a combination of that word and the word 'understand' but it looked too ridiculous, even for Dubya.
You didn't think of it...admit it!

Has anyone ever used Phoenix Sky Harbour airport?

Looking at flying to Fresno in the new year and the best deals seem to be flying via it with US airways. (Dub-Philly-Phoenix-Fresno).

On the return route however the flight comparison sites and USairways.com have only allowed for 38 mins from landing in Phoenix and the flight to Philly. This seems ridiculously short but at the same time why would they advertise this if it wasn't possible? Anyone any experiences of similar?

I know there are multiple terminals in Phoenix, almost got caught once as there are only bus transfers. Even though It is same airline, sounds very tight. Dont check a bag in.
I'd agree...that's much too tight.

I've never defended Iraq

I'm aware of that.
Yes and we're also aware of how difficult it is for you to
answer that question :-X

Israel is getting antsy to get at Iran, if they strike i can only imagine what will happen on this thread.
Not a thing Stew, the warriors embedded amongst us here would be on the
the next plane out there in defense of their brothers... :D

And the reason you're not in Iraq is...?
Why would I?...I've never defended Iraq
Why are you in the US?

Classic classic straw man.

No remotely sane person has ever accused you of defending Iraq, having any regard for Iraq or even having the slightest consideration for anyone from Iraq.
Says you :D
Are you boy's not constantly defending everything and anything that's leveled at Israel ???
She's a big girl Muppet and can answer her own questions  ;)
Why are you in this country Eamonn?

I think the bears are the second best team in the league right now, unfortunately for them they are also the second best team inn their division and the pack continue to roll.

I think the packers will lose one of their next two games, probably on Thursday but perfection was never the goal, winning it all again was always the goal and I think that the biggest stumbling block to that is those pesky bears, they are good...........very good.

Cutler is some pup. First incomplete pass in yonks.

I thought the Chargers had the measure of GB moreso than of the Bears today.

The pack played them and beat them................in Chicago.

The packers are 10-0 for a reason and they are a better team than the bears at this stage...............just.

I hate to say it but the Pack look unstopable at the moment. As a team the Bears are night and day from the first matchup and the Bears should beat the Pack.

Great!!!! While typing this reply the local chicago news channel reports "Cutler has a broken thumb on his throwing hand, out 6-8 weeks with surgery".

Have to see how Hanie responds now as the starter for the rest of the season, thankfully the D is playing well now.
The niners are looking pretty good though so might not be all bad
If things work out  ;)

i think it was mark twain who said 'youth was wasted on the young' how true. going to underage football turns my stomach closely followed by blood pressure off the clock, the little fukrs are made of shite.. theyve been so pampered and molly coddled theyre hardly fit to walk. when we were young my father worked and i had to get on with it. i used to run 3 miles to an out farm and carry out half a dozen bales of hay to cattle who'd have pulled it off your back then run back again in wellies before i walked/ran to school. in the evenings i'd be sorting spuds from a pile in the middle of a field that were covered in rushes and soil.. pinks in daylight and whites if it got too dark. i'm not complaining when i was 15 years old i could lift 100kgs over my head and hold a vw polo car up at the back long enough for the wheel to be changed.. for fun. didnt know what a gym was and i played senior football the day i turned 15. i dont think people realise just how physically weak the human race in general has become. my father often tells a story of his father going to town for horse shoes, he bought a hundred weight bag of them. 8 stone. they live 3 miles out of town, all up hill. dad says he threw the bag over his shoulder and he never rested once coming up the hills da was 12 at the time and he says he could hardly keep up with him, he made his living quarrying stones with a sledge and crowbar then carting them to build peoples houses. the way humans are going it'll take two men to pull a ragweed. ;)
Ah sure everyone's auld lad had stories like that...that hill he had to walk carrying them horse shoes
didn't have men painting the white lines on the middle of the road off roof ladders by any chance  :D
walking through 6 feet of snow to and from school for months on end, dipping the auld bit of stale bread in a puddle at school to
soften it before he could eat it...the list goes on!
Having said that I do agree about the kids of today, if work was in bed, they'd sleep on the floor for the most part  :-\
