And one of the nicest fellas you'll have ever met.. he did the door at our club for many years when I worked there as a kid, seen his handy work most weekends lol, cool guy with brilliant stories from around the world, with all that he was so modest.

Danny Cahill aged 53 from Killorglin in Co Kerry in a Car crash.

Locals said he 'just lived for gaelic football'.

Mr Cahill famously captained the Kerry minors to an All-Ireland football win against Dublin at Croke Park in 1988 and was actively involved with his beloved Laune Rangers GAA club all his life.
