I've noticed this past few months my right knee getting really sore after going for a walk, or even after getting out of the car after driving for a few hours...I initially had problems with my knees after doing Duke of Edinburgh expedition, so probably something to do with carrying a lot of weight on my back and walking through the mountains...anyway I went to the doc after that and he said it was something to do with the cartilage having pits in it so the bones were rubbing together, and if I didn't do any impact sports for a while it should heal up...this doesn't feel like bones rubbing off each other, but I have noticed when it is sore theres a fair amount of heat coming off it but it's not swollen...has anyone any ideas of what it is or the best thing to do for it??
