Easy sitting on the sofa thinking the best way to play the extra two men, but S'neil missed out on a golden opportunity there..

Not embarrassed in the slightest today, just poor shooting and a very poor start to second half
Very poor second half in my opinion. Seemed to have been told to go long at half-time as were getting lot of joy doing so in 1st half. Surely with 2 spare men coming out of defence they could spread and run the sliotar. Na Piarsaigh full back line, especially Casey, cleaned up in 2nd half. Rodgers very quiet after a storming first period.

Constantly going long meant the 13 were not killed running.

Class finish.

Very poor since 2 sending offs from the Derry men.

2 reds for Na Piarsaigh in a minute.

Rodgers a handful!

Wide count mounting for Sleacht Néil.

If a Friday night Allianz league game, say Donegal Galway, was being shown we all could relate more to it and most present enjoy all the more.

One game on a Friday, one chosen as an attractive fixture for neutrals, could set off the weekend leagues and give the Saturday papers a game to get their teeth into rather than another half arsed page of fixtures and predictions.

It would struggle to get through as the players would have to take a day off work more than likely. Thee supporters may give out about a Friday night game too. It is true that midweek underage or preseason games can be very successful, however. 8,000 attended a midweek minor hurling game in Cork last year. I dont think the GPA would be for it though and cant see it happening anytime soon.

I'd say if it was rotated equally amongst all teams so that every team only got one friday game and it was televised that players and supporters wouldn't mind. I'd rather a 8pm friday game than say going to Ennis for 2pm on a Saturday.
Something like this was what I had in mind. Give teams plenty of notice so people can plan for It, even extra expenses for a Friday  night game if that's not too big a minefield to enter.

Was having few social ones tonight and Ireland rugby under 20s on in pub. France up 22-3 at half time and we got chatting, not one of us that bothered with what we were watching. The rugby under 20s game was a right game in second half when Ireland came right back into it but point is that we had damn all else to watch and us in football country, given a GAA option we would not be watching what we were.

Some strange and bizarre opinions being offered here. Surely the sensible approach is to take in as much information as possible before deciding for certain what occurred.

Absolutely no winners in this case. Noticeable in TV reports I have seen that Jackson has family with him going to court each day whereas Olding is on his own.

Noticeable?

If anything it's Jackson who is dead to rights on this one given he was the instigator.

Family members and spouses/girlfriends regularly support their own whether it's obvious they're guilty or not. Either unwilling or unable to process the fact their own kin is capable of what they are accused of. It's not really notable at all with regards their innocence or guilt, PW.
Noticeable as in I observed.

You're an emotional wreck here Syferus.

:o

If you're trying to pretend that your implication wasn't that Olding's family aren't supporting his plea of innocence like Jackson's family are it's not going to wash on many people.

Calm down petal. It was an observation, don't know any of the players or their families.

I'm disappointed you're engaging in regressive name-calling. Always thought you were a decent poster.
I posted the most innocuous thing possible and you drew the wrong conclusion.  No big deal just don't keep at it.

Qd for the craic for tickets to see if I could get them (even though I would prob give as presents to someone deserving). €200 + fees for the one ticket I was offered. In Row Mayo. For Mon night in Point.

Now they can go f**k the f**k off.

€200 for one ticket???

What's Row Mayo?

Just wide of the Hill goal post closest to the scoreboard. Normally were you'll find Mayo shots in the last 10 mins of an AIF.
Another geographically challenged Dub. I blame the GAA for not allowing you play outside the M50.

Any adice on buying a new laptop appreciated.

Use for simple work tasks such as word documents and excel. Personal usage mainly browsing and photo editing & storage. Travel a bit with work so watching Netflix etc also.

Is internal storage now not so important with cloud technology?
Know price dictated by size and spec but first purchase in a decade so bit out of touch.

Willing to pay €7-800.

Bought a new Surface Pro 4 myself recently - like it - good mix of Tablet/Laptop
Need to be able to hook up to printers etc. The Surface herself has is grand for browsing only and documents at a push.

I see its a new team every season Paul Rouse who is in charge.

No surprise there.
The majority of the squad will come from undergraduates, so there would only be a few freshers on the squad, and the 3rd year is a placement year, the team will significantly change from one year to the next
Freshers not permitted to play Sigerson as far as I know.
