Missing Alisson, Matip, TAA, Szob, Jones, Jota, Nunez, & Salah ...impressive

Jeez could've scored double.

Gonna need Nunez and Salah back for the weekend though

Quote from: ONeill on February 18, 2024, 11:12:52 PMJust seeing Nunez's finish. That was tremendous. Had Messi scored that it would be on loop.

Davor Suker did similar against Schmichel in the euro finals famously one year.

Porborsky had a lovely one in EURO 96 as well.

Don't know if Nunez is clean buck mad or not but that showed some balls to do it. He would've received some amount of negative press if he had of missed

Been impressed with Arsenal recently.

Quote from: RedHand88 on February 17, 2024, 02:04:39 PMJob done. Onwards to the first trophy of the season next week.

Luton up first.

Brentford defending was awful. Kelleher deserved the clean sheet, fabulous save before the goal.

3 goals came from long ball punts!

Quote from: J70 on February 17, 2024, 01:14:08 PMInjuries really piling up now for Liverpool. That Jota one looks season-ending.

Brilliant, ballsy finish from Nunez.

Defo didn't look good. Squad going to be fully tested with 2 games a week...with Trent, Szob, Alisson, and now Jones and Jota...that's half a starting team.

Some finish by Nunez though

Might have to go the hospitality route. I saw £152 for the Southampton game

Was it not against burnley when Salah got pushed into an offside position and as a result was deemed to have obscured the keepers view?

These things tend to even...and all that shite!

Nothing vintage about that win but with the amount of injuries and sickness in the squad a very good 3 points

That'll be that for him I'd say...wonderful player on his day but we've moved on and in Szob, Mac Allister, Jones, TAA, Bajcetic (if he ever comes back) and a lesser extent Endo (age)...our midfield has what it needs.

He left Anfield the other night in a protective boot. Supposedly has a swollen foot

Awful news for Conor and the family. I suppose at least in some small way his dad did get to see him break through into the first team

Quote from: AustinPowers on January 29, 2024, 06:48:30 PMRashford being seen  in a nightclub in the north is strange enough ,  but why the hell  would he go to a Larne match?!

Some youth player he played with at utd plays for them now

Wish he would've just shut that down straight away, whether true or not...no need to be giving the journos any extra ammunition for more headlines
