Liverpools downfall was upsetting the beast by going 2 up.😬
Madrid in total control once they scored their first. Next 3 were all Liverpool mistakes and bad defending. The 5th was just brilliant from Benzema.
Hey we've been 3 down before and came back but it's very unlikely this is going to be overturned.

FSG said today there will be funds available in the summer, it's going to take serious funds to get the team back to where it was.

Serious gulf in class. And this is Madrid down two first choice midfielders.

Liverpool played really well for first half hour, but Alison's f**k up seemed to drain the confidence (and boost Madrid's).

Modric and Benzema are still world class operators. Vinicius utterly brilliant.

Liverpool's defending is simply shambolic. Needs to be a change of approach if they want to make too 4, assuming that game doesn't completely rock them back on their heels.
