Liverpools downfall was upsetting the beast by going 2 up.😬
Madrid in total control once they scored their first. Next 3 were all Liverpool mistakes and bad defending. The 5th was just brilliant from Benzema.

Don't want to see Real again in a hurry but unfortunately have to for the second leg.  They are annoyingly good.  Keep reinventing themselves and finding ways to keep the show on the road.  Couple of top class goals from them but they were gifted a couple.  The set up for their free kick for the 3rd looked far too deep and static. Shame that chance to go 3 nil up didn't go in.

Madrid have that mad knack of scoring goals. Most of them look lucky, but luck comes from hoping for the best and taking a chance.

I'd be in no hurry to be rid of Klopp. We had a season like this a few years ago. He deserves at least time to rectify the situation.
