Over the weekend, Down revamped their website and there has been some discussion on whether it is better or worse. How do you feel about your county website and the options it offers?  Who do you feel has the best website in Ulster?

Lads the Antrim site is worth a visit and the new county year book has just been put on-line.

Dont say anything on the Antrim website though as the Admin might track you down and burn your house if he doesnt agree with it!  :D

I have always found the Antrim site, probably along with the Leitrim one as the best county board websites, donegals isnt bad either they are great for updating it with news, Tyrones is a little bit all style and no substance. The flash is foolish at the top, do their designers even realise that flash cant be accessed from the iphone....a real no no that one!

Jury is out on the Down one, it is a big improvement to the old website looks wise but lets see if it is updated properly, its early days yet.

Any of the gaa.ie content managed websites, eg Cavan, Fermanagh, Monaghan, I wont even bother commenting on, they are not in the races

youbetterbelieveit

The key to any good website is up to date content, derrygaa.ie is on a par with anyother county website its very good for results and content.

The Cavan page is a thing of great beauty :D

I think Cavan has to have the worst website of all the counties, never really updated, menus are impossible to follow.

Its a joke and whoever is supposed to maintain it should be ashamed of themselves!

Come on! - you are supposed to use the 3D glasses when you are looking at it, the whole page comes alive then.

Ah thats what the problem is, I lost my 3D glasses, maybe you could arrange to get me a new pair Myles?

Yep, it can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes you get a link to a match report and it's simply the scoreline.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Yes but on the internet, the Tyrone flash is first class.

Armagh site has come on leaps and bounds. The county boards seem to be following the Ulster Council's lead.

Obviously some lads aren't taking this seriously  :) The only ones in contention IMO are Tyrone, Derry and Down. But the Tyrone one gets my vote, though it could do with some more general interest content to draw non-Tyronies in. Armagh's is woeful and most of the rest didn't even bother trying which I can't understand, websites as bad as the Monagnan one for example reflect poorly on the GAA in the county.

You are right about the Armagh site, maybe I am wrong but I could not find any way to access one result or fixture in the site, do they become state secrets once the season is over. They used to display them the last time i was in there

If you stare through it for long enough, you can make out a picture of the polo grounds...

When I want to check results, tables and fixtures I go to the Orchard County website - always up to date.
