Don't know who to blame in this one however the attack on Kevin Lunney is strange.

Surely Quinns would have known this was a step too far and would not benefit them? And as the programme confirms Dublin Jimmy could only have done this for money.

So who paid him? People assume Quinns but who did this attack benefit? It put an end to Quinn support so would there not be a theory that the attack could have been organised by someone on Lunney etc als side?

The priest speech at mass also was a bit much IMO hanging a man who had not been been proved guilty.... a bit unchristian

Ps I'm not a quinn supporter

The show played the video of the lunney attack in the petrol station. Seems strange considering that was nothing to do with Quinnís. That was a personal fued between the lunneys and the McGoverns that has been running a long time. Screams of grasping at straws to try and connect the two. It wasnít just the Quinnís who disliked the lunneys in Fermanagh.

I see Dukes is getting a bad touch on twitter for his comments.
Why do you claim its 'grasping at straws' to connect Quinn to Lunney?  Just because someone else allegedly did not like Quinn, does not mean they would be more motivated, both financially  and vindictively  to do in Lunney .  Quinn is the outstanding character according to the  Occam's razor principle and on the sidelines,  the priest is the privilege holder of a million secrets :)

Quinns quoted comments about Lunney are bizzare.

Because the fight in the petrol station had zero to do with the rest of programme. It wasnít about intimidation or the Quinns. So its inclusion was an irrelevance. That incident was about a family feud in Kinawley. So it smacked of trying to add more in to suit an agenda.

He fucked up, lost the run of himself trying to make 5 children billionaires. Jumped into different fields on a whim, hit lucky on most, till shares killed him. The legality of buying shares under various names, firms was his downfall. Big man in Fermanagh but his ego looked to be the size of trump, talking about himself in the 3rd person. Why anybody wants to start buying up half Eastern Europe when they have 3 billion is anyone's guess. Pure Greed finished him in the end. Make alot of money in insurance but seemed to put little aside for major event changing claims. Little sympathy for him to be honest. He alone responsible for his downfall.

Cfds are undeclared. He bought via different brokers. Not under different names.

Just to add a bit like the footballers it gives rags like beltel and newsletter material for countless shit articles for weeks

Twice on the front page of the Beal Feirste telegraph this week.

Yes they should stop reporting news.

Is this news? A girl acted a complete bellend. Couldnít defend her actions. But is it really newsworthy for such a sustained period of time? No f**king way. And thatís not defending her actions.

Sean Quinn. Firing tens of Millions into Allied Irish under different names, when the shares had halfed in months, tryi g to make a killing. Pure Greed and Ego just got the better of him, Ridiculous. Plus getting involved in shares he knew nothing about. Strange he blames so many people when he alone at fault.

To be fair, he said it was all him who decided to do the cfdís. After diversifying so much previously it was a terrible decision to then roll everything back into the one basket.

I get what people are saying with regard to rules. But itís beyond completely f**king daft that intent should be used to evaluate handball as a foul, when intent is not a factor in any other type of foul.

The rule on handball would be so much easier to accept and interpret, if the subjective assessment centred on ďdid that handball gain his side an advantage that otherwise would not have existed?Ē, rather than ďdid he mean that? No, of course he didnít mean itÖ soccer players donít use their handsÖ so move onto the next criteriaĒ.

I agree, tho in the competitive world of soccer youíd start to see forwards trying to gain an edge. Blasting the ball at defenders hands etc. itís just one of the things where thereís no perfect solution as thereís too many variables.

Was listening to the news this morning and they were talking about how Wales were going to get their first WC win in whatever number of years. Bale on as well, and wasnít playing it down. Thought at the time, they were setting themselves up for a fall.

Needs to be a hospital in that part of the country! Health service top to bottom is a disgrace

There is one. Altnagelvin. Fermanagh does not have the population to staff the SWAH.
How far away is Altnagelvin from Enniskillen? Maybe Iím just spoilt having Daisy Hill and Craigavon a stones throw away with Belfast only a spin up the dual carriageway as well.

Hour and 10. 50 miles. Beautifully demonstrates my point on roads

You would never make it in 1 hr 10. Iím between Dromore and Omagh and will take anything from 1hr to 1hr 15 depending on traffic. Enniskillen another 20- 25 mins on that. Iíve done the trip regularly unfortunately.

Infrastructure not  hospitals dotted everywhere is what we need .

But you need good strategy at govt  level for that . SF/DUP don't fit that bill.

We have far more hospitals per head of population than rest of Ireland and uk.

SF have been the main party pushing the development of the A4.
But I agree, infrastructure is essential in the west. The A5 and A4 need to happen. And soon.

On an aside, from Memory Peter Quinn was one of the big supporters for the SWAH and one of the main campaigners.
