It is like watching a apocalyptic movie, consuming over 42 square miles and growing.

Over 80,000 people forced to evacuate.

Hopefully the winds die down soon to help first responders get a handle on this.

They start because forest fires have always happened, long before man discovered how to make fire.

They became more frequent once humans discovered how to make fire.

They are much more likely than ever to start nowadays because millions of people have relocated to a tinderbox environment and chosen to do bring heat and light with them.
