He was just doing a big S for Super-Klopp!!

I think he drew the surname initial of his primary transfer target.

A bit harsh on Gary there he is doing a serious job at swansea.

Doing a serious job at Swansea? Been there, done that.

As we are all in happy dreamland- let me ask a question.

I assume that most will agree that Klopp at Anfield makes for a more attractive landing spot for top talent than when BR was there.

With that in mind, any potential (somewhat realistic please) January targets? Paddy power's odds on next permanent club being Liverpool in brackets (parentheses)

Reus (5-1)
Strootman (13-1)
Benzema (19-1)
Higuain (11-2)
Arjen Robben?( 21-1)

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

He's paying a visit to Kerry Katona.
Klopp gets the Klapp.

He'll get lost up there as if he was in the Mersey Tunnel!

Captain Obvious

Looks like the deal was in place long before Rodgers was sacked.

When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

ONeill

He'll make Liverpool interesting to watch on MOTD for the interviews.

And....Liverpool aren't in an unhealthy position either. Could be their year.

His celebrations are legendary, he is a tad touched but in a good way, I think he will do a bang up job for Liverpool but the yanks are going to have to get rid of expensive mistakes and spend a ton to get them back winning titles.

City are going to run away with the league, I have Liverpool pegged for fourth this year after this signing.

Its about time Liverpool were punching above rather than below their weight if truth be told.

This is a significantly bigger punt by Klopp than by Liverpool.
It is, I think, the first time the club has has had one of the best managers in the game come in. Shanks, paisley, and Rafa all built their name at the club.

So why is he here? Who do Liverpool think they are?

From espn:
Well, that can be easily answered: Liverpool are one of the most popular clubs in the world. They are regularly one of the 10 richest clubs in the world too and, lest we forget, still the most successful English club in the Champions League with five cups.

Every time a Liverpool boss gets anything remotely correct, the team climbs the table into a challenging position. Yes, the pressure is intense because of history and reputation, but that is half the attraction for coaches who know if they get it right at Anfield the sky's the limit.

Short version "if you're gonna be a bear, be a polar (or grizzly depending on where you are)"

Rafa had won La Liga twice and the UEFA cup before Liverpool so he wasn't a total novice.
