Songs praising freedom from oppression are hardly hatred and bigotry.
What about songs glorifying the Provisional IRA?
I'm not very familiar with any of those.
Any words of hate or bigotry in them?
Mind you the Provo IRA didn't just appear in a vacuum.
1921 -1969 might have something to do with them?

The 3rd Episode shows that winning a provincial title still means a lot to some counties . Great scenes at the clubs they returned too and Roscommon town.
When you haven't won it in a while it sure dies.
However if you're going for 12th in 13 years or the only issue is will Kerry make 100 before Cork make 50......

Most traditional sessions have few if any "rebel" songs - most of which anyway are about freedom from oppression, not hatred and bigotry.
I see the Orange Order has refused to answer a question as to whether they've expelled the terrorist who was convicted of driving a car into a crowd and running down a teenage girl.
As long as he didn't go into a Catholic Church I suppose.......

Ahhh Redhand you're far too nice for this forum.
You have to be moaning and running down things at all costs.
SeÓnie  you're right about ye're bucks heading to Ruislip and the Laythrums going to NY.
The London CB might lose out on bar takings this year as their Bank Holiday weekend will be gone unless of course it's on 6th May.

I doubt that will effect things much. People willing to travel to London already will just take the Monday off if they don't want to come home that evening, or will just get lathered Saturday night.

People criticising the timing of the Aussie Rules really are comical.
Syfīn  I'm talking about all the latchicoes turning up for the after match party and nothe having to worry about work on Monday.

As we don't do hate and bigotry very well I suggest you bring people to a Traditional  music session.

You mean John Bigot Taylor the last survivor of the old Stormont regime.
He'd be better off advising the Unionist minority in the 6 Cos to start making friends with their neighbours in the 6 Cos and then in the 26.

To be officially announced next weekend or during the coming week.
Enda had to talk to his new Employers (AIB) to see if they'd let him off.
They will so he's going.
I presume Joe K is going through lads these days to see who can or can't go.

I see the best footballer in Co. Mayo is off to Australian Rules.
