Feck it. Pity it couldn't be that bit earlier so you'd be able to take it easy going to Omagh.

I know it wouldn't work and would be unfair on Dromore, but it would be a deadly opening game in Omagh to the Ulster Final.

Definitely would be alright.  I would love to see both games but hopefully we will just be heading home beeping the horns like mad!

I think this could be a cracking game as both teams are strong and hopefully the weather stays good for it.

The Watties up against the greatest of them all. Will be a great day for them and it's a great test. Let's hope they give a good account of themselves.

I don't agree they have blitzed anyone (a poor Enniskillen team excepted). They had a tough test in the Derry final verses a very good Faughanvale team and only just got over the line. That age group is tight in Derry with 4-5 clubs around the same mark.

In Ulster they only pulled away from Ballybay in the closing stages. The semi final however seemed like a non event verses Enniskillen.

It's a big ask against Cross who beat the reigning champions and are arguably the most impressive team there to date.

Fingers crossed there's two trophies heading past the seven sisters to Derry from the Omagh area on Sunday but it's gonna be very tough in both games.

As the final of this is fixed for the 1st Jan, will this be the first game played under the new black card rules?

From our Gaelic Life. November 21st edition

St Paul's chairman Chris Brown confirmed that the organisers were expecting to have the new rules in place.
"Having spoken to the three referees we will be using them, they all agree that we should indeed plan to implement the rules," he said.
Brown confirmed that clubs will receive communication from organisers confirming that measure, and it will make for an interesting game.
With the semi-finals traditionally held on St Stephen's Day, it ensures the two finalists will have to do some quick readjusting ahead of January 1.

What quick readjusting will the teams have to do?  Play within the rules and you'll not get a black card - simple!

It's the referees that will have to readjust.

It's the referees that will have to readjust.

No players and managers will too.

Players will be able to score points with the hand differently in the semi-final compared to the final for example.

Managers will now be able to introduce six subs instead of five.

Congratulations to our boys on what was by far their most impressive performance of their perfect unbeaten season.  They played exceptional stuff to win against a very good Glen team and I think the overall stronger balance on our team was the difference. Glen  relied too much on young Glass whereas we had numerous options.  The future looks bright anyway!
