What Next? The WAGs alongside Mickey Harte and Tony Donelly at the Dug Out? A Loughshore version of 'Footbllers' Wives' or 'The only way is Essex'?

The BBC really do my nut in. It's bad enough they try and pimp the UK Labour Party (That got their Country into the Debt they're in now) without this Tabloid-esque dissection of the Tyrone side.

Typical actions from the West Tyrone animals.

Fixed your post. ;)

Highly unlikely, but fair play to the Orchard County for their development work in Hurling.

I sometimes head to Armagh City and it seems that all the young lads there are playing Hurling rather than Football. It's a similar Story in Inner-City Dublin.

Considering how Derry had a Purple Patch in Hurling 11 Years ago, let's hope Armagh can have a similar one this decade.

I talk to a few friends from Cargin/Creggan who are always maintaining that the Antrim Board were biased towards the Belfast players. Is that still the case?

Well, many players from South-West Antrim would have featured in successful Colleges sides with Derry's 'Big Three' (St Pat's Maghera, Mt. Mary's Convent, Magherafelt and St. Pius X College, Magherafelt).

Derry / Derry Club Football & Hurling
June 28, 2011, 03:46:28 PM
Why was he not a regular in the Derry Team for the past 10 Years or so? He's a class act throughout the Year and was easily the best player on the Field during the Ballinderry V Lavey game at Glen on Sunday.

I think John Brennan has played a blinder by reintroducing him to the Derry panel. Now the likes of Deets and Enda are showing their Ballinderry form with the County Side.

By refusing to show at least hilights of the U-21 Shield Final?

I think the mentioning of it was pretty insulting, demeaning the Sport the way US Sportscasters denounce 'The other form of Football'.

If I was a Naomh Columcille man, I'd have been livid.

Tyrone / Re: Ardboe V Moortown (Reserves)

The second Penalty was a bit of a cop out, but Moortown had another good Goal Opportunity in the 2nd Half.

What's the latest on Christy Cassidy?

I'll never criticise another Tyrone Referee again.... EVER!!!!

Some of the tackles (particularly from Lavey) were more akin to WWE than Gaelic Football. The Penalty the Shamrocks won was the Gaelic equivalent of a 'Penalty Try', with Aaron Dook practically felled.

I wonder what it takes to win a free in Derry?  ::)

You're some craic coming from the county that gave the world Martin Sludden and redefined the meaning of ladies knock-out football.

Thank God I'm from the Loughshore rather than the 'Wild Wild West'. :)

General discussion / Re: would you ever vote DUP?
June 28, 2011, 01:01:32 PM
I certaintly wouldn't vote DUP. The McCreas think they own Mid Ulster and are hateful so and sos.

Though, to be fair, I wouldn't vote Sinn Fein either. Their view of equality is almost Animal Farm-esque.

I will vote for whatever Independent Candidates are doing the rounds in the Election (I voted for Hugh McCloy in the Assembly Election).

Personally, I don't think there'll ever be a United Ireland. My ultimate goal is Joint Authority.

Tyrone / Ardboe V Moortown (Reserves)
June 28, 2011, 12:53:34 PM
It was a carbon copy of the Senior game 2 Months ago, Ardboe creating enough chances to be out of sight at Half Time but nearly throwing it away in the end.

Moortown are just like the Germans, impossible to shake off. They did exactly what Donegal did to Tyrone, the only difference being Ardboe held on.

Great Penalty save by Conor McGrath. :)
