Read that tweet myself yesterday, but oh my god, to die the next day, poor family. It was this bit got me "so essentially going home to die but getting palliative care. The kids know. If you ever come across them, will you an eye out for them"
Hospitals are not equipped to treat stupid

Shocking. The 4 siblings gone.
Are/is the father(s) around ?
I know who the dad is, I think he should be around.

RIP indeed. I knew him from old days over there and spotted that he posted here only a few weeks ago (after a gap of 12 years)

RIP Liam, was one great hurling forums and more, the one about Charolais cattle was the stuff of legend and even prompted some cattle breeders association or other to complain about it..

Very sad.
Late 50s/early 60s I;d have guessed. Had he been ill?

Was 72 according to this post on his blog, which I found earlier today

He was active on his blog and on Twitter until recently. The obit posted by Gav Reilly references suddenly at home

RIP Liam Cahill.
He might have had a few jousts with us over the years but he was an entertaining character too.
He put a lot of time and effort into An Fear Rua and it was one of the earliest GAA websites of the digital age.
