Quote from: AustinPowers on July 10, 2025, 04:49:00 PMI don't  get  the  public outpouring of grief when  the likes of a royal dies. Thousands of bouquets of flowers. Why?

Why don't they encourage people, instead of buying flowers  that  will just sit there and rot , to donate money to  a charity? Or in the case  of a tragedy, donate  to a fund  that will help the families affected.

Who benefited most from Diana's death? I'm convinced she was taken out by a hitman hired by Interflora.

Quote from: DaleCooper on July 10, 2025, 01:26:08 PMBound to have been efforts to sabotage them. Wonder have any efforts been successful?

Let's see if this catches on

They say they are not going to act because of the threat of violence. The PSNI really are the biggest shower of useless shite in the long history of showers of shite. And the Shinners want us to support this parcel of pathetic uniformed cnuts.

Quote from: armaghniac on July 01, 2025, 10:18:59 AMTHESE ARE ACTUAL COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY "THOMAS COOK VACATIONS" FROM DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS:

1. "They should not allow topless sunbathing on the beach. It was very distracting for my husband who just wanted to relax."

2. "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food."

3. "We went on holiday to Spain and had a problem with the taxi drivers as they were all Spanish."

4. "We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our own swimsuits and towels. We assumed it would be included in the price."

5. "The beach was too sandy. We had to clean everything when we returned to our room."

6. "We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow."

7. "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers in Puerto Vallartato close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during 'siesta' time -- this should be banned."

8. "No-one told us there would be fish in the water. The children were scared."

9. "Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers."

10. "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local convenience store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."

11. "The roads were uneven and bumpy, so we could not read the local guide book during the bus ride to the resort. Because of this, we were unaware of many things that would have made our holiday more fun."

12. "It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair."

13. "I compared the size of our one-bedroom suite to our friends' three-bedroom and ours was significantly smaller."

14. "The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the resort.' We're trainee hairdressers and we think they knew and made us wait longer for service."

15. "When we were in Spain, there were too many Spanish people there. The receptionist spoke Spanish, the food was Spanish. No one told us that there would be so many foreigners."

16. "We had to line up outside to catch the boat and there was no air-conditioning."

17. "It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel.

Reminds me of the old joke.
How do you know a plane full of English tourists has just landed?
Even though the engines have been shut down, you can still hear the f**king whining...

I have a feeling the  BBC won't show them on it
If they do it will no doubt be heavily edited to show the songs and none of the anti-Starmer chants etc.

Yep. Propaganda wing of British State. Local wing run by son of TUV nutjob and Billy Wright groupie.

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on June 22, 2025, 09:26:14 AMTail wags the dog in America,Sorta makes his non backing of Ukraine with weapons looks strange now. No more wars for the US trump says, but I say this drag the US into one, while Israel laughing all the way to the bank that they suckered Trump and the US again.

Not really.

His non backing of Ukraine has nothing to do with a desire to stop war and suffering and everything to do with appeasing Putin and forcing Ukraine to surrender.

He admires and envies Putin and wants the same level of unbridled power Putin enjoys.

It's more to do with Putin having the goods on him than admiration and envy.

Quote from: trileacman on June 12, 2025, 11:36:23 PMI don't understand how anyone can think this new stadium is just gonna magically fall out of the money tree. It will consume millions of the GAA's revenue for years to come. That means less coaches for underage teams, increased ticket prices, fewer development grants for clubs, dilapidated county grounds because there's no money to repair or replace them.

A 250 mil Casement is a financial millstone that will weigh around the neck of every club in Ulster for years and years and years. And the only f**king reason you and illdecide can come up with for building it is "to stick it to the f**king Prods".

I actually had the thought yesterday that if Unionists in Stormont were smart they would actually agree to a deal to cover a significant chunk of the funding shortfall - if they gave enough that it would basically give the GAA no choice but to make up the rest of the shortfall ,which would mean the GAA would be forced to overextend itself financially which would likely end up doing significant damage to the long-term finances of the GAA as a whole. My only consolation is that they aren't smart enough to manage a move like this.

But you hit on the very valid point that the average unionist wakes up everyday thinking about how to get one in the eye of the GAA. ;)

There always whining on about 'making this place work's but can't help themselves trying to rub our noses in the shit. They're too f**king stupid to not only realise how this damages their case, they're too f**king stupid to realise that ship sailed in 1969.
