Image going round Twitter of a news broadcast from Minneapolis last night or the day before showing a guy rimming another guy in the middle of the riots. Whatever floats your boat.

I appreciate reading has never been your strongest suit but if you try again and peer closely, you'll see it says "Twitter" pretty closely

Wow!

It says it happened on the Arctic coast. I wonder is permafrost melting a factor? If so, could be a growing problem in those regions as polar temperatures continue to rise.

Melting permafrost a factor in this too it seems:

Perhaps understandable, but a shame that the environmental disaster is so quickly bumped from the public conscience when something else big crops up. I remember the financial crisis of the 00's killing much of the momentum the issue had built during that decade. Of course people will always but more worried about immediate concerns, but it's sad that it'll likely take years of Attenborough documentaries and attention grabbing social media campaigns and school kid lead protests to reestablish anything like the same public profile for the issue.
Doc would listen to any kind of nonsense and change it for you to a kind of wisdom.

Are we sure this isnt some sort of largescale artwork thing?

I find the behaviour of one of the buildings very metaphorical.....

f**k me, 20,000 tonnes of diesel? Billion dollar clean-up?

And how the f**k do you properly clean up that large of an area in a tundra landscape? It would be like cleaning up a bog hole more than a hundred square miles in size and growing as the diesel percolates through the water and mud.

Another video of that Norway landslide, from the same fella, this time with initial footage from some of the properties before they slid away. The houses he walks by are seen later in the video (footage taken from up on the hill) sliding off into the sea. You can see cracks forming in the lane by the house too.

Drone footage at the end of the aftermath.
