Quote from: Rossfan on April 25, 2024, 12:41:30 PMExchequer gets nothing from match tickets here.
Heard this at the weekend, GAA pay taxes on Northern games but no on Southern games

Could we move the Stormont funded stadium to South Armagh and put the entrances in Louth?

That route is already busy...

Quote from: Estimator on April 21, 2024, 01:11:48 PMWatched the first half back this morning
and it hasn't really changed my mind from standing in the Brandywell Terrace yesterday evening.

Derry owned the ball at the start of the game and should have opened up a bigger gap on the scoreboard before Donegal got off the mark.

The shots dropped short especially playing with the wind in the first half were poor.

Even before the goal Lynch was caught twice out the field, once Rogers intercepted the through ball and another when McGrogan wasn't focused on getting the pass from Lynch and Donegal got a point at the other end.

Could have done with someone else other than McKaigue getting on the end of that goal opportunity.

Ref had a decent half, didnt fall for feigning injury from the hit my McGuigan. No real difficult calls to make.. But was he right about the protocol on the injury to Patton??

Not sure if I can stomach the second half yet. Might have to leave that for a while.

I didn't see  this. What happened?

Under the new rule he was 100% Patton went down, appeared to be feigning at after a Derry point, physio messed about coming on to see him so he was sent around the pitch back to the middle to wait for the referees call to come back on

At least the Derry players could leave the field for the first time in 2 years without being swamped by kids looking for their gloves #TheLittleWins

History won't look back on Klopps tenure as well as it should as the number of trophies is going to be dwarved by City which is a real shame

Is it any consolation that more kids than I've ever seen in my lifetime are actually playing the games? Although being a Derry man the success of late may have encouraged that

Honestly, I don't know what we have to do.

I'll start, what's PED?

Carlow always produce a shocker but their newest is the worst yet, better off in bibs, why are they even releasing a Jersey this late in the season?

Quote from: armaghniac on April 10, 2024, 08:27:04 PMWhat sort of score is this in an intercounty game? One thing Jarlath Burns might do is try to get Antrim to take part.

HALF-TIME:
@EirGrid
 Ulster U20 Football Championship Round 5

@Doiregaa
 🟥⬜️ 4-09
@AontroimGAA
 🟨⬜️  0-00

This is their second worst defeat Tyrone beat them by 33pts!

That wasn't even the full time score, Derry must have taken the foot off the pedal second half as they ended with 5-16

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 10, 2024, 05:36:47 PMDerry must have some uplift from the Roacommon game. I see 2000 tickets between Players,County board, Sponsors, Ulster GAA, I thought players only got 4 each [which hardly enough), so that seems a fair up lift for the other parties. Wonder what changes in the layout of celtic park has changed over the years that capacity has dropped from 18k to 13.5k, i see no changes i am aware iff, or any incudents every occurring here. Suppose the city council  would have the answer for that.

Is 18k going back to the days before the new (10year old) stand was built? Because the Tyrone match was close to 12k if I remember right and we were like sardines in the college field terrace so can't see where they'd fit another 4k+

Quote from: Milltown Row2 on April 10, 2024, 12:40:08 PMIt'll soon be the keepers will be picking up the keepers to nullify their input

Stop giving junior team managers tips.

Some junior keepers won't be able to run the length of the pitch to pick their opposite number up anyway
