Good man yourself! O Boyle was a class act and I agree that Sean Leo doesnt get enough recognition.
Think Nicky Joyce was awesome too. Livewire

Keane

I enjoy these pieces but I thought your analysis of the second half of the Donegal Laois game was off the mark.

You've described a Laois attack that went from 7 scores and 5 misses (1st half) to 4 scores and 8 misses as "just as economical" in both halves, when there's clearly a pretty massive difference (58% efficiency to 33% efficiency).

You've then lauded their 2nd half defensive performance which is ironically statistically worse to the defensive performance of Donegal in the 2nd half, as Donegal achieved 4 scores and 7 seven misses to Laois's 4 scores and 8 misses.

It sort of looks like you had your conclusions reached after the first half and just wrote your second half narrative to fit in with it - "if you ignore Donegal's two goals Laois had a perfect defensive dome which Donegal couldn't penetrate in any shape or form" is particularly dreadful stuff.

Just a bit of constructive criticism, like I said I find the pieces by and large to be excellent so keep up the good work.

Cheers Keane - a couple of people said about the Laois attack right enough! But I stand by the defensive points because the first goal came by complete fluke and the second was just a sucker punch.
