have to say i'm a fan of Clones myself, the 13 men win against Derry in 95 was the scene of one of Tyrones greatest triumphs. Still don't know why Pascal Canavan was sent off though!!

always good craic in the town before and after games

defo need to sort road and parking out though before increasing the capacity

Does anyone know what Vidic's celebration was about I've seen John O'Shea and Fletcher do the exact same thing recently?

don't know if i was being wound up or not but my mate told me last night that these celebrations they are doing are from some computer game they all play online, some sort of combat army game where ye fire rockets etc, supposedly they play online against the Chelsea boys
i will ask him and see if there is a link to it

no doubt Utd will start out with a 4-5-1 formation tonight with Rooney out wide on the left. But i really hope I'm wrong and they go for the win and try and win the group with a better goal difference.

United can't win the group on goal difference, goes to games played between the two, so as Celtic have better goal diff between the two games (3-2 & 1-0) United could only finish second if both United & Celtic win. This is why Celtic have already qualified on 9 points whilst United have not even though they too have 9 points

Think United will win easily enough tonight
Benfica looked quite poor in the game between the two that United won 1-0

Think Celtic will get a draw in Copenhagen

surprised there ain't been a bit of chat about the Ballinderry V Cross game

I'm expecting a great game, looks like Bellew is not fit to start, wonder will Gilligan start at FF again?
Will Muldoon have the same influence that he had against Errigal.

Would be some effort if Cross could win this one with the injuries they have

Paddy Power have
Crossmaglen 11 - 10 v Ballinderry 21 - 20
with the draw at 5 - 1
almost inseperable, fancy Ballinderry myself but would not be surprised in the slightest to see land another Ulster title, would it be there 5th in 10 years?

good signing in my opinion

only for 3 months and if United get through against Benfica he would be able to play in CL. Not too many other strikers around Europe not cup tied in European competition
will bring a lot to Uniteds game, his link up play is awesome

watched it on Football First aswell

Everton were very poor and were missing in my opinion their two best players, Cahill and Johnson.

United finished the game with 7 defenders on the field
Neville
Ferdinand
Silvestre
Evra
Brown
Heinze
OShea

good sign being able to pick up 3 points with a team like that out, but Everton were very poor
Next up Boro away, could be a tough one, didn't they beat Chelsea earlier in the season.

Why have Chelsea no game this weekend?
Read today that if United win their next 2 games, Boro (A) & City (H) they would be 9 points clear of Chelsea before they play Arsenal(H)

disgrace

not throwing stones as it happens in every county, but these morons need to be charged and banged up for assault

what makes normally mild mannered people think they can do this on a GAA field
we can all get a bit heated watching our team when we feel something has gone against us but it's time the GAA took a firmer stance against things like this

thought Carrick had a good game alright
thought Vidic was arguably better, shouldn't Drogba have been sent off for that sneaky elbow?

#42
always thought Shovlin was a class act

but i suppose martin bug would have to get it

Brian Mc Guigan returning from Australia in 05, without him Tyrone wouldn't have won the All Ireland

Still think we would have won the 2003 final if he hadn't been wrongly sent off.

As Eamonn Coleman once said
"if ye strake, ye must walk"

alonso looks like he will have a dead leg from the impact of challenge on him
